Chapter 6: Should I Confess?

OMG 500 views. I can't believe it.
Thank you guys so much. To celebrate and thank you guys I'm gonna post 3 chapters today and (try) to post a chapter everyday until next Tuesday. After that Iight only post 2 -4 times a week.
P.s: the next chapter will be up in a few hours I have to finish it.

Narrator

It's Friday morning. It's gloomy and raining. Topaz just had gotten up and ready for school and now is thinking of a way of how she's  going to get to school. She usually walks to school or takes the bus but she had no umbrella and she had missed the bus,her parents couldn't take her either cause they have already left for work and won't return until 10:00 pm. She was looking for a raincoat until she heard a knock on the door. She went to answer it and was surprised to see Citrine standing there with an umbrella in hand and smile on her face.

"Goodmorning Topaz." Citrine said coming inside of the house. She put the umbrella down and gave her best friend a hug. Topaz blushed and immediately hugged her back.

"What are you doing here? You always leave for school early in the morning."

"I decided to walk to school with you today, and I know you don't have umbrella."

"Oh hehehe, thanks." Topaz said scratching the back of her head. "We better get going, before the rain gets worse."

"K" Citrine grabbed the umbrella and asked. "You ready." Topaz grabbed her backpack and nodded. Citrine open the door and they walked out together. Citrine all of a sudden pulled Topaz towards her by the waist. Topaz blushed and asked.

"How come you're holding on to me."

"The closer you are to me the less you get wet." She said with a shrug. "Why does it bother you, I can let go if you wan...."

"No no no no, it's doesn't bother me, I was just asking that's all. And I kinda like it." Topaz whispered the last thing to herself for citrine wouldn't hear.

"Ok"

They soon made it to the school. Citrine put her umbrella in the locker. They got they're books and went to class. Citrine sat down in the front and today topaz decide to sit next to her and they chatted as they waited for the rest of the class to arrive. Soon amethyst came in with peridot by her side and lapis was behind them, blushing and talking with Jasper.
Jasper and amethyst sat in the back like usual and lapis and peridot in front next to Topaz and Citrine.

"Goodmorning, Citrine and Topaz." Peridot said as she sat down next to Citrine. Lapis waved to two girls and sat in front of peridot.

"Morning cutie." Citrine said to peridot and winking at her, which made Peridot blush and looked away.

"Ugh" Topaz grumbled and went to sit on the back like usual but was stopped by Citrine.

"Please stay and sit next to me it's much better having you by my side."

"O-okay" Topaz sat back down.

Peridot and Amethyst were at the lunch table talking, but there was no sign of the others.

"Where's everybody else at?" Peridot asked, wondering where her friend's are.

"Steven decided to make Connie a picnic for there 1 1/2 anniversary. Pearl and garnet are in the library, they said they're not coming to lunch today. Jasper is with Lapis in who knows where and what, but they'll be here soon. And Citrine and Topaz decided to sit somewhere else."
