It's been about four weeks since I started my job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. It wasn't the best job, I got minimal pay and the job was either boring me to death or literally killing me, but it was the only job at the moment, and I just needed enough cash to put food on the table and keep the roof over my head. And boy, was I just barely making it. Good news, though, I had made some friends along the way. There was Mike....he was okay, kind of mean, though. There was Scott, he acted like he ran the place, very responsible. Fritz was there too, a bit too dumbfound for my taste, though. There was Vincent....well I wouldn't necessarily consider him a friend. More like the guy that's always trying to sexually harass me when no one is looking. But then there was Jeremy. He was probably the only real friend I had around here, but something told me we could be more. I would never say anything about it, though. I pushed the door open and the little bell above it chimed. I could hardly hear it over the children, though, I have no idea why it was there. "Oh, h-hey (Y/n)!" Jeremy greeted me from across the room. I swiftly drifted past the troublesome kids and their parents distracted with each other. I stood next to the shy boy, his ruffled brown hair sticking out in all directions, some covering his eyes. I wish it didn't, his eyes were magnificent. His wonderful green eyes that you could easily get lost in, they were bright and sparkled like an emerald. He looked over at me with a soft smile, his cheeks tinted with a light, pink hue. We're both relatively short, he was only an inch or two taller than me. I lifted my hand to move the hair from his eyes, and he giggled as I did. "Hey, you two love birds!" we both snapped our heads around to face Mike. His face turned a bright red and I snickered. I must admit I was blushing too. "W...what is it, Mike?" he said, annoyance in his voice. "I'm sorry to disrupt you two, but boss needs us." the other male said in response. He was taller than both of us. It was kind of intimidating. He wasn't as tall as Scott. But Scott wasn't as tall as Vincent. "Oh. Okay, let's go!" I chimed. "Not you." Mike pointed at me. "Hmm?" I hummed. Jeremy turned to look at me with these sorry, green eyes. I frowned. "You and Vincent are going to stay out here and watch over everything. We're going to a meeting." Scott said from behind Mike. "W-what?! Why me and him?" I whined. "Because you are new, and Vincent is hard to talk to," he concluded. "Now come on." he and the others left around the corner to boss's room. I sighed longingly. "Out of all the people," I muttered under my breath.
It's been an hour now. I watched the children run and skip across the room, making a mess of things. I watched them with bored, tired eyes. Then someone's fingers intertwined with mine. I jerked my hand away, snapping my head up to see Vincent looking down at me, a smirk on his face. I hated him so much. His empty lifeless eyes stared me down, almost literally. "Looks like it's just you and me, love," he said. I hated him so much. He leaned down and kissed me. I pushed him away, and I guess I had super strength for a good three seconds because, for once, he stumbled backward. He glanced at me, narrowing his eyes. "Don't make things any harder than they need to be." He said pushing me back, pushing me down. No one batted an eye. No one even noticed. "H-Hey!" Vincent and I both turned out heads in shock to see Jeremy standing there, concern was written on his face. "Jeremy?" I said in a questionable tone. Scott and Mike stood closely behind him, all staring. Scott looked perfectly normal, regular day for him. Mike looked slightly angrier than normal. Vincent rolled his eyes and walked away. Jeremy stumbled over and extended a hand for me to take. I took his hand in mine gladly. "Goodness, where did you get the confidence to do that?" I smiled, everyone knew he was extremely shy, even he knew. He didn't mind it, though. "I don't know." He laughed. He never let go of my hand. We both just sort of stood there nervously after that, averting eye contact, but never letting go of each other's hand. I was going to tell him. "Jeremy...." I muttered. "Y-yes?" he stuttered, turning to look at me. He was blushing more than he regularly did. It was so cute. "I...do you...like me?" I asked, looking nervous, my face burned. "(Y-Y/n)....I...." he just stood there, mouth gaped, his face got a little redder. He leaned in quickly and kissed me. I widened my eyes in shock and excitement. He pulled away before I wanted him to, but it was good enough for me. "Of course." He smiled and laughed a little. "WOOooooooo....." Mike screeched. Guess it's all okay then. I smiled, and I never did let go of his hand.
