I love that big fool
He stares at me while he drools
Moves one eyebrow up or down
Depending on the direction he moves his head
Brown fur and warm undercoat
Pure muscle without bloat
He will lay his paws on your shoulders
Cast-iron stomach that can digest small boulders.
Drool you fool, drooling is so cool
When you are your size...
You have such big brown eyes
That only a Mother could love
Wag that long tail of yours
So sturdy, a woman can hang her purse
Sometimes you bark with a verse
Too loud for these sensitive ears.
But if I lost you, there would be tears
Plenty.
You have to be fed two times at least
Every time I see you, I say, "What a beast!"
Your kibble to you is a gourmet feast
You are so easy to tease...
I love you, you big brown furry fool
Dog-gone it, now I'm late for school.
