Your Thin Blood

You have thin blood, it flows too easy

Oozing out of every one of your orifices

You have that far away look as if life used to be breezy

How much longer can you remain at your helm?

You have a phlegmatic reputation

No matter the situation, I never see sweat form on your brow

Your eyes are ice-cold, no frown lines either

You're never wrong, nor have you eaten crow.

Immersed in the glow of self-appreciation

You bathe in your own reflection

Sending ripples of scorn outwards

To those who happen across your path.

Though others may cringe when they enter

Your perimeter

Your sneer can freeze or singe

And fell an entire race

But that doesn't concern you.

Your blood is as thin as a

homeopathically-diluted and succussed solution

Only iotas of iatrogenic witticisms

Traverse within...

But you view them as

Ingots of gold

Despite blunders so bold

I wonder if you've ever been told

That your blood runs cold.
