Captain Boomerang is not happy with this new situation he has just walked into. He does not like being away from his wife for any period of time and it would seem that Kara has walked out of the apartment they share together. He frowns heavily at this latest infuriating development since he does not want Kara to be out of his line of eye-sight. He growls softly in frustration as he looks around the apartment slowly for any sign of his beloved wife. His eyes fall on a letter that is lying on the coffee table in the living room and he walks over to it so that he can read it out of nosiness.

He frowns even more heavily when he notices that it is written in Kara's lovely handwriting. He lets out a frustrated wail when he realizes how long it will be before she returns to him as the contents of the letter processes in his sluggish mind. He would have to wait that long before she comes back to him? He would have to wait that long before he can hold her in his arms once again? He would definitely have to have a few words with his wife to let her know that this will not be happening again as far as he is concerned.

It upsets him that she is even out of his line of sight, let alone that she would be gone for a little while. He would have to make sure she sees that he does not want to be separated from her for any reason. What if the two of them are separated for good due to her becoming harmed...or even worse than that? Boomerang becomes angry at the thought of this event actually happening on his "watch". He does not want to lose the love of his life due to something he could very well have prevented with his presence next to her.

He does not want her harmed because of some hoodlum or some other form of dumb-ass who decided to mess with the wife of Digger Harkness. Will he have to get a tattoo printed upon her body that tells other villains to back off? He roars with a sudden fit of hysterial laughter at the thought of her reaction to such a tattoo. He can see her even now trying to fight him on this count as he tries to force her into the tattoo parlor. But then he would rather not upset her since he knows what would happen if he upsets her.

He has seen the temper of Kara Zor-El and it is not a pretty sight whatsoever. He has to force back a shudder, in fact, as he sits down on the sofa beside him. He groans softly when he realizes that he will just have to wait until Kara returns from her outing, which to him will be the longest wait of his damned life. Spending time in prison at Belle Reve didn't seem to be as long a period of time! Yes...he will definitely have to speak to Kara about this matter of utmost importance.

Kara Danvers glared up at the Joker now. The small trinket that he placed around her neck had kryptonite in it and he had stood over her while she wrote that letter. She knew where Harley was now and Boomer was not going to like it. This green haired idiot was also the one who got him put into jail in the first place. Had she not been exhausted and passed out asleep, she would have heard the duo break in and would have taken them both. But he had a small necklace that he had placed around her neck and it had rendered her powerless.

"You better let me go, asshole. Boomer will not treat you lightly if you don't. He has had enough of your antics. You will be lucky if he doesn't kill your precious puddin' when she gets to him. But then I don't know what she sees in you anyway."

A weird laugh escaped the villain as he looked at her but he slapped her cheek instead. He was not happy with what she had said apparently and he doubled up his fist to hit her again but then decided against it. Instead he tightened the rope holding her wrists together behind the chair. She could feel it cutting into her skin and felt it becoming raw. Boomer would really be pissed at this. She narrowed her eyes as she knew that she would let Boomer handle it this time. She could smell the liquor on the male harlequin's breath as he staggered around, trying to stay on his own two feet. He would still be tipsy when Harley showed up with Boomer.

"Thanks to your husband, my precious puddin', as you put it, is leaving me. She saw how good he was treating you and she decided she would do this last thing for me and leave."

Back at the apartment, Harley knocked on the door. She was doing this last thing for Mistah J and then she was gone. Mistah J wanted Harkness, she would deliver. Especially since he would more than likely take Mistuh J down. She was all for that. She would be on her own then. Free to do what she wanted. She chomped on her gum for a moment before she lowered her bat and put it behind her.

"Mistuh Digger? I know where yer puddin' is."
