We live in a world for Men.
A world where it's ALWAYS our fault.
They tell us that we have to cover up.
That Men just "can't" control themselves.
They say that Women can't show thheir breasts,
That we would be inviting the bad.
But what about the Men?
We should be teaching them control, not shaming the victims.
We shouldn't make girls think they deserve it.
We shouldn't blame girls for the horrid acts men do to them.
But , sadly we do.
Because we live in a world for Men.
People wonder why,
Why so many rapes and assaults aren't reported.
But to me, its no mystery.
Not in the slightest.
They shame us and say we deserve it.
Say that we had it coming.
Say "Oh, she was asking for it!"
Or, "But look at the way she was dressed!"
Honestly, it shouldn't matter!!!
Someone should be able to walk around naked!!
A girl shouldn't have to wear T-Shirts and baggy jeans all the time.
She should be able to wear anything and everything.
Men should be able to see a girl and think,
"Oh, that girl is showing skin, what about it."
Not "Oh, I want that girl and I will have that girl!"
That is the problem in our world.
Its a corrupt system.
Its gone mad.
In this world built for Men.

A/N: I do not think all men are horrible people and rapist. I was super mad when I wrote this because my English teacher made a comment about how girls need to cover everything up because "boys will be boys". I don't believe that. I believe that everyone has control over their own actions and that the term is just another excuse men have instilled in our minds to make us think that the things they do are ok. Those of the gender of male, please do not take offense from this. NOT ALL MEN ARE MONSTERS!! This just happens to be about those who are. Also, if you are or were a victim of physical, verbal, or sexual assault, please know that it is not your fault and you don't deserve any of it. Goodbye for now.
