How can you stand there and say that!
She's in your section!
She should be your choir mate!So what she sings a little loud,
Or just a little off pitch.
At least she's trying.
At least she's giving it her all.Maybe instead of trashing her behind her back,
You should be giving her FRIENDLY advice.
Inform her of what you hear.Or, you could just stay out of it!!!
You're not the director!!
You're not the section leader!!
You have no right to say these things!!But you will probably continue.
Continue to say rude things behind her back.
Continue to think you know best.
But above all, you'll continue to have the Soprano Attitude. You saw the kids in Brother's Ensemble
The way that they accepted all of their members.
The way they treated them as if they were no different.
Why can't you be like that? Why can't you accept each person's individual quirks?
Just because she doesn't sing like you, Doesn't mean she's not a part of our choir.
Accept that she sings different.
Or that she's loud.Learn to accept each singer for who they are.
Then, maybe you'll become a part of a choir.
Maybe you won't be the "Sopranos"
But this is just wishful thinking, I know.______________________________________________________
A/N:
Hey guys. This is just off of what has been happening in my choir recently. So, this group of Soprano's and sometimes a couple alto's have been trash talking one of the Soprano 2's behind her back and it just makes me so mad. I hear it and I just want to say something so bad but I don't think I could say anything without blowing up. Then, we had a concert tonight and they were getting worse after the concert was over. I'm just so done with them. What makes this even worse is that I've been in her position and know how horrible it can make a person feel to know that their choir doesn't respect them or think that they are an important aspect of the choir. I'm gonna talk to my director about it tomorrow and get it taken care of. I honestly don't think that they even realize I'm there half the time. That's the good thing about being a freshman. No one pays attention to you or realizes that you're there.Well, it's been a long day and I'm exhausted. Until the nest time.
