jihoon stood in front of his father, looking at him with no expression whatsoever. his face was stoic, it was something he was used to.

his father turned to face him, and let out a laugh maniacally. "hey jihoon," he wheezed, his voice exemplifying throughout the room. "you're going to run the company for me, right? you won't let that stupid bi-"

jihoon dozed off, thinking about other things. his father was CEO of a company, but that didn't mean he wasn't able to have his own issues. his father had gone insane because of the amount of stress he'd gone through. his divorce, losing custody over his own child, and having to deal with the major issues in his company?

his father couldn't handle it. he had been a good hearted person before the incident. he was too fragile for the amount of things he had been through, and it showed. jihoon felt bad for him, but there wasn't anything that he could do. either way, he wasn't planning to become the CEO of his father's company. he could keep it.

"father-"

"you're doing it for me, right?" his father asked, his voice cracking.

jihoon saw the tears in his father's almond eyes, the hue glistening, as if he had rivers to pour out. jihoon wanted to say that he felt bad, but in all honesty, he didn't feel bad at all. all he'd done throughout his life is reject proposals, such as agency deals, becoming CEO, and more.

"no."

his father looked down, and started sobbing. the nurses looked at him worriedly, and comforted him. they understood jihoon, so they didn't think of him lowly, and did what needed to be done.

"miss l-"

the door was slammed open, another female nurse panting. "you guys need to go, right now. she's having another panic attack."

the nurses nodded, leaving a single nurse to stay with jihoon's father. jihoon wondered who they'd left for, but pushed it aside. he only worried for the things that had been going on in his own life, he didn't have time to socialize and empathize for other people who had simple "problems."

jihoon looked at his surroundings, and took a good observation of it all. he was surrounded by white walls once again, except the color had been plastered everywhere. there was no life in these rooms, halls, or anywhere.

he wanted to run away from it all, and find some actual color that would make him feel alive. he was tired of the nonchalant life he lived, it was boring to the point that he felt as if he needed to end it.

maybe then things would start getting interesting, he thought.

he was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard his father's voice. "you'll become CEO someday, jihoon. you're going to have to accept my proposal someday."

"over my dead body," jihoon scoffed, walking out of the room. "bye, dad."

he saw people with completely drastic emotions. some were bouncing with complete joy, while others sulked and sobbed, mourning with others. however, someone stood out to jihoon.

they seemed to have the same stoic emotion that jihoon had. however, the aura around him exemplified horror. shock. complete stress.

he may have only seen him for a mere second, but it was an image that would stick in his mind for ages. it was utterly terrifying to see something as saddening as that. to make it worse, he seemed familiar to jihoon. he wanted to know if he'd known him or not.

jihoon sighed as soon as he entered his car, and zoomed off back into his house, and hoped that his mother wouldn't kick him out like the last time.
