Chapter 2

Marinette sat on the couch and Adrien sat next to her. They watched a few movies. "Adrien I'm hungry."

"Hungry for what?"  He had the day off today since Gabriel was away on business.

"Cookies." Marinette licked her lips as Tikki whispered 'cookies' in her ear.

"I'll go get you some." Adrien stood up and grabbed his jacket.

"No make me them." Marinette whined.  "I don't wanna be alone in the apartment. Make me them."

"I'll be back in a few minutes from the bakery. Just don't move."  Adrien grabbed his keys and left. Marinette sighed and continued her movie. Adrien went to the bakery and took a deep breath before walking in.

"Welcome t-Oh hello Adrien. Where's Marinette?" Sabine hugged the boy.

"She's back home. She was craving cookies." Adrien smiled and Sabine nodded. She handed him a bag of cookies. "Thank you."

"How's the baby doing?"  Sabine wanted to know everything while Tom was still working through this. He was happy for them but a little disappointed since they're so young.

"Great.  We went to the doctors today and it's doing well. We should know the gender in a few months." Adrien smiled.

"That's wonderful news. Come and visit us anytime you like." Sabine smiled.

"Of course."  Adrien smiled and walked back to the apartment. Marinette stayed on the couch but was very bored watching movies by herself even though she wasn't. Tikki and Plagg watched with her but it was boring without Adriens sweet warm body next to hers. "I'm back." Adrien sat down next to her and handed her her cookies.

"Thanks!" Marinette grabbed one and scarfed it down.  "These are so good!"

"They're from your parents bakery.  I wouldn't expect any less." Adrien chuckled and moved closer to Marinette. She rested her body on his and they watched more movies. "Wanna go on a walk?"

"Nah I like it right here." Marinette snuggled into his chest.  He rolled his eyes and pulled the blanket up on them. They watched movies and old Tv shows until night. "I'm tired."

"So let's go to bed." Adrien chuckled as he turned the Tv off playing 'I Love Lucy'. (Is that show even in Paris?)

"Carry me."  Marinette pouted. Adrien sighed and picked Marinette up and carried her to the bedroom where he put her into her pajamas and then into the bed. Adrien went to go take a shower.

"You're very lazy. You know that right?" Adrien chuckled as he got out of the bathroom in sweatpants.

"I am pregnant." Marinette said slowly and Adrien chuckled.

"Still lazy."  Adrien got into bed and Marinette rested her head on his chest. He kissed the top of her head and held her closer.  "I love you."

"I love you too." Marinette yawned. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight Princess." They fell asleep holding each other. Marinette woke up at 3am and looked at Adrien as he slept. She ran her fingers down his face. Tracing his nose and jawline. "How do you expect me to sleep if you keep doing that?" Adrien didn't open his eyes. Marinette booped his nose until he opened his eyes. "Yes M'Lady?"

"Croissants." Adrien sighed and got up. He got her croissants from the kitchen and she scarfed them down fast. Adrien lied back down on the bed.

"Can I sleep now?" Adrien chuckled as Marinette snuggled her head into his bare chest. He wrapped an arm around her and held her closer. They fell asleep again. Adrien woke up to his phone ringing. "Hello?"

"Adrien." Nathalie's cold tone echoed through the silent apartment. "You're late." Adrien looked at the time. He was an hour late for his photoshoot.

"Sorry Nathalie I overslept. I'll be there soon." Adrien hung up then carefully got out of bed so he didn't wake his Princess.  He made her waffles, pancakes and croissants since she mostly wanted those in the morning.  He left a note then kissed her forehead before leaving. He didn't want to leave but did. Marinette woke up to a peak on her forehead and Adrien starting to walk away.

"We're you going?" She rubbed her tired eyes and sat up.

"I have a photoshoot at the Louvre. I'll be back soon." He smiled and sat on the bed.

"You sure?" Marinette yawned and lied back down. He bought the blanket up and kissed her cheek.

"I'm sure. I'll see you soon." He smiled and she smiled back. He kissed her forehead and left. He walked to the Louvre and did his photoshoot which took longer then he wanted or intended to. Everything was going wrong and for a reason. Nathalie walked to the apartment after she saw Adrien leave the apartment. Gabriel sent her to bring him home and make it look like someone robbed the place so he'd go home.

He left the door unlocked so she walked in and looked around. Plagg and Tikki hid while Marinette was still fast asleep. She walked into the bedroom and saw Marinette."What in the world!" she whisper yelled almost waking her up. Marinette turned to her back and Nathalie saw the bump. "Oh dear." She gasped with a small smile. She left. She didn't do anything but leave Marinette to sleep. She knew Adrien wanted to be a father more then anything so she just left.

Adrien got back to the apartment and walked in. Mairnette was still asleep so he ate the food he left for her. She was asleep all day and he was growing worried. "Marinette?" He walked into the bedroom and saw her asleep on her side. He sat on the edge of the bed and gently woke her up. "Princess?"

"Yeah?" Marinette yawned but didn't open her eyes. Adrien breathed in relief as she sat up and rubbed her eyes.

"You were asleep all day. I was starting to worry." Adrien sighed and Marinette yawned again. "You should eat something."

"Okay." Marinette yawned again and Adrien picked her up and carried her out of bed and into the kitchen. "I can walk you know." Marinette giggled as he placed her in a chair.

"I know. What do you want to eat?"

"Hmmm cookies!"

"Something healthy." Adrien chuckled.

"But cookies." Marinette whined.

"Something healthy or nothing at all." He crossed his arms.

"A fruit salad then." Marinette sighed in defeat. Adrien nodded and made her her food.
