Chapter 14

Marinette sat in her room trying to call Adrien. Her finger hovered over the call button and Ryan sat on her chaise. They eventually became friends but Ryan hasn't met Alya and Nino. "Come on Mari. You've put this off for two weeks. It's time you call him."  Ryan chuckled. Marinette took a deep breath before pushing the call button and putting the phone on speaker.

It rang twice before Adrien picked up.  "Marinette I'm so so so so so sorry. I should've told you that me and Riley were doing a publicity stunt and I'm so so so sorry for not telling you."

"I-it's okay.  I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions and let you talk." Marinette started crying tears of joy.

"H-how." Adrien started. "How's the baby?"

"It's great. In a month or two I'm going to the doctors but I don't want to know the gender until I give birth."

"I'm sorry I can't be there with you."

"I-it's fine. I'm staying with my parents right now." Marinette pursed her lips. "I miss you."

"I miss you too. I'm going to try to get back in a month.  I miss you way more then a boyfriend should."

Marinette giggled. "You can try but I don't think you can fit four months worth of photoshoots into one month."

"Watch me." Marinette laughed. "I missed your laugh. It's like music to my ears."

"Y-your just saying that."

"No I'm not. If I were with you right now I would kiss every inch of your beautiful face and make you your morning croissants."  Marinette blushed.

"I love you."

"I love you more."  Marinette blushed again.

"Adrien come on! Max isn't gonna wait any longer for you!" Jolene yelled.

"Who's that?" Marinette grew a little jealous.

"That's Jolene, one of the people I'm living here with.  I promise nothing is going on between us.  She's too hyperactive and crazy."

"Heard that!"

"Good!" Adrien laughed. "I gotta go. I love and I promise I'll be back soon."

"I love you too."  Marinette said back and hung up.  She cheered to herself that she called him and they made up.

"I'm so proud of you Mari." Ryan smiled at her. The trapdoor swung open and Alya and Nino came through.  Nino with a croissant in his mouth and on his phone while Alya ate a cookie and brought a plate up with her.

"Ugh there have been no akuma attacks for at least three months!" Alya complained then noticed Ryan. "Who the hell are you?"

"Ryan." He gulped at the fierce look in Alyas eyes.

"He's a friend.  Ryan this is Alya and Nino." Marinette smiled and noticed the bag in Ninos hand and the five on Alyas arm. "What's with the bags?"

"Oh yeah!" Alya put her phone and the cookie tray down and grabbed the bag from Nino and sat on the floor. She put the bags in front of her and put numbers in front of each bag.  "Choose one. One to six."

"Why?"

"Just choose one dudette." Nino sat on the stairs to her bed.

"Uhm then three." Marinette smiled and Alya opened the bag and showed a Chat Noir baby onesie. "Wow."

"Yep! We got a couple things. Choose another bag."

"Five."  Alya opened it and it showed a black cat stuffed animal with green eyes looking at a Ladybug on the top of its head. "Why do I have a feline they're all Chat Noir and Ladybug themed." Marinette covered her mouth.

Nino blinked before laughing. "Did you just tell a cat pun? I swear Adriens gotten to you!" Alya hit him on the side of the head.

"I-it's okay Alya. I called him before you came in and we made up. What else do you have?" Alya sat back down. "Two."  Alya opened it and pulled out baby bottles with little Ladybugs and cat paws on them. "Knew it."

"Give them a try before you hate them." Alya stuck her tongue out.

"One." Alya opened it and pulled out a baby blanket with green cat eyes on it. Marinette rolled her eyes. "Four." Alya opened it and pulled out a red hat with black spots on it and a black screen with little ladybugs on it. "Then six." Alya opened it and pulled out a picture of Marinette and Adrien at the carnival the school threw when they were 16.

"You like the hall I got?"

"How'd you get the picture?"

"I know my way around stuff Mari. I got it developed from my phone and then I got a frame. You're-a welcome." Alya smiled and Marinette smiled back when her phone rang. Marinette picked it up and Nino took it and put it on speaker.

"Hello?" He tried to sound as different as he could.

"Please give the phone to Marinette." Nino snickered and did it.

"Hello?"

"Whoever you're with will be dead when I get back." Nino gulped.

"Adrien calm down. It's just Nino being an idiot."

"Okay. I wanted to ask-wait, am I on speaker?"

"How'd you know?"

"I can hear three different types of laughs being held in." Nino, Ryan and Alya started laughing. "And there it is."

"What did you need to ask me?" Her doorbell rang.

"Can you go get the door?" Adrien hung up and Marinette lifted a brow.
