•Eunjin's POV•
It's been 12 years since that incident with the men.
12 years since I was that innocent eight year old.
Ever since that incident, I promised to myself that I would stay away from humans.
I promised myself that I would live somewhere with no humans.
And here I am, fulfilling my promise to myself.
I'm living in a deserted beach which was hidden at the end of a forest so there was no way a human would come here.
You might think that I'm lonely here but I'm not.
Since I have Mickey, my K-9 dog who apparently can talk to me and no, I cannot talk to animals.
Mickey has this device as her collar which allows her barks to transmit into human language.
This device was made by my technician uncle when I told him I didn't want to be around any humans so he gave me a dog instead.
"Eunjin! Time for lunch! Where's my food?" Mickey barked as the device on her collar immediately translated it into a language I knew.
"Wait a minute, boy. I just need to write the last sentence of my diary entry." I told the excited K-9 as she wagged her tail.
I closed my diary and placed it on my book shelf before heading to the kitchen with Mickey following me.
I grabbed his dog bowl and poured dog food before placing it in Mickey's corner.
"Thank you!" Mickey barked.
"You're welcome." I smiled at her before going back to the kitchen and prepared some bibimbap.
After lunch, I grabbed my camera and headed out with Mickey.
"Mickey~ Fetch!" I threw the tennis ball as far as I can and placed the camera in front of me.
The scenery...that's what I loved the most about the beach.
The swooshing waves, the white sand, the shells that was brought to shore by the waves. I loved everything about this beach.
Especially the forest behind me. I turned around to see the free forest and grinned. The forest acts like the barricade between me and the human area.
Just then, I heard someone calling my name.
"Eunjin-ah! Eunjin!" I whipped my head towards the voice and assumed it was Mickey.
I quickly ran towards the voice, holding the camera in my hand.
Just then, I spotted another figure beside Mickey.
I stopped in my tracks as I recognized the figure.
"H-human..." I muttered with my trembling lips.
"Mickey! Come here quickly!" I yelled but the dog figure beside the human didn't budge an inch.
"Mickey!! Come to me!" I yelled before the two figures approached me.
