[BACK TO THE PRESENT]
"Are you okay?" Jimin asked, worried planted all over his face.
"I...I.." I stuttered out as I tightly gripped the blanket.
Should I tell him I'm fine? Then that would be lying...
But if I tell him I'm not, I might seem like a coward.
"I.." Just when I hesitated to tell him that I was fine, he flashed me a soft smile.
"You can be honest." He said almost quietly, as if to calm me down.
I saw his hand approach my shoulder but he soon pulled his hand back and coughed.
"Well..I'm not fine..I..I'm scared.." I spoke softly and loosened my tight grip on the blanket.
"Are you scared because you think I might attack you?" Jimin asked, his eyes were drooping.
"Uhm..y-yeah.." I nodded at his question and averted my gaze from him.
"It's fine. I know you can't gain trust for a person you just met so I understand. If you want, I'll sleep on the couch for today. Is that fine?" He asked with a kind and calming tone.
He's...so...kind...but why?
What if he's just acting kind to cover up his true colors? No! Eunjin! Don't think that..
Jimin's here to help me not...assault me..
Or is he?
What if he's only after my family, my money?
But he hasn't mentioned anything about my parents..or the company my parents own.
I have to..trust him. I have to! But for now...
"Yes. That will be better..." I muttered.
"Okay then. So tomorrow, we have to prepare you!" He exclaimed with a big grin on his face before standing up from the floor.
"P-prepare!? Wait! What do you..mean?" By the time I finished talking, he already ran out of my room.
"Gaah.." I sighed and slapped my cheeks.
"You can do this, Eunjin! You can do this!" I chanted and plopped back down on my bed.
I'm going to start my day with a human...with a stranger I just met..
