Chapter 16: Raw Eggs

•Eunjin's POV•

"I've heard that Eunjin's scared of you guys so why not make this game bring you all together?" Mina clapped her hands in excitement before clearing her throat, "I dare you to kiss Eunjin."

I blinked, tilting my head to the side, "How is that supposed to help me get closer to them?"

"I'm not a wussy or anything but I do kinda agree with Eunjin noona." Jungkook nodded his head as everyone turned to Mina for her response as she sighed and waved her hand.

"Fine then! Just stare into each others' eyes for 30 seconds, first one to pull away has a punishment." Mina flashed a grin and pretended to sound like an evil an witch as she laughed making everyone stare at her confusingly.

"Fine with me, is it okay Eunjin noona?" Jungkook turned to me.

I gulped the big lump in my throat, nodding gingerly.

"Y-yeah...it's alright." I let out a deep breath and wiped the sweat of my forehead.

If I was able to stare into Jimin's eyes for 8 seconds then staring into someone I'm not so close with for 30 seconds is...

Worse.

But I can do this. He can't kill me by staring into my eyes.

"Ready, set, go!" Mina exclaimed, starting the timer on her phone.

I stared into Jungkook's eyes—noticing his dark brown's irises, barely seeing my reflection in them.

I can't—I need to look away. I can't bear to see my reflection in his pupils. My eyes are burning. Screw the punishment.

I quickly averted my eyes from Jungkook's and cleared my throat.

"So, what's the punishment?" I turned to Eunjin who was pouting.

"So close! It was 22 seconds!" She exclaimed, huffing, "The punishment is...we will throw eggs at you! Don't judge me, that's the best I can think of."

"That's not so bad..." I muttered.

"To the bathroom!" Mina cheered as she grabbed the eggs from the fridge.

[TIME SKIP]

I stepped into the bathtub as Mina and the others grabbed an egg each.

"I won't hit hard, I promise." Namjoon oppa reassured as everyone gave him a funny look.

"That's a lot coming from a guy who broke the refrigerator door." Jimin sputtered while the others chuckled.

"It was an accident, okay?!"

"Yeah, sure," Jimin suddenly turned to me, a weird expression on his face—is it a worried expression perhaps? "Eunjin, are you sure about this?"

"About what?" I tilted my head to one side, "The punishment? I can't back away and I have no choice after all."

Jimin sighed as he slumped his back before handing his egg to Taehyung and removing his sweater.

"Mina," Jimin stepped into the bathtub and threw his sweater aside, "You don't mind if I do the punishment with her, right?"

"If you don't mind getting covered in raw eggs then be my guest." Mina smirked.

"On 3, we throw," Taehyung exclaimed excitedly, "1,2,...3!"

In a blink of an eye, flying eggs were headed towards us and I was trying to shield my face with my arms as Jimin did the same.
