The demon strode down the streets in the bayou, a smirk stretched across his face. Frightened and scared werewolves stretched across the sidewalks and shoulders of the road, eyeing him nervously, afraid of what he was going to do. The sound of chaos echoed through the air, his recruits tearing apart the pack's homes in search of the witch and the wizard he wanted.

His heart pounded against his chest and his hands were clenched into fists, his nails digging into the palms as the taste of the witch's blood on his tongue drove him absolutely mad. He was struggling to resist the urge to find her himself, wanting her death to be slow and painful, rather than quick and painless like it would have been if he were to rush to her and sink his teeth into her with one swift motion.

"Come on, Rachael! This could all be over if you and Urie give yourself up, simple as that!" He called while looking through the mass of wolves, hoping to spot either of his prey, but neither were anywhere to be found.

"You're never going to find them," Someone dared to speak out, causing Patrick to stop dead in his tracks. He turned his head, his red eyes locking on the person who spoke.

"What did you just say?"

"I said you're never going to find them!" The young wolf exclaimed, stepping outside of the protection the large group of werewolves had created for themselves, "They're ten times stronger than you and your men, and you're a fool to think that you have a fighting chance against them. They'll kill you before you even come close to them!"

The demon pivoted his body, turning towards the courageous boy. The werewolf was no more than thirteen, yet had the bravery of a pack fighter. The child's mother was screaming for him to come back, but the boy stayed in place and faced the possessed man. "You think you know everything, don't you, little one?"

He lifted his chest and stood confidently, responding, "I know that you're not going to win this war."

"Oh really?" The demon challenged, starting to approach the young pup who nodded his head yes, "We'll see about that." And with that, he rushed up to the wolf and cracked his neck. Gasps and sputters filled the air, adding to the screams and cries that rang in everyone's ears. The adolescent's body dropped to the ground, a thud filling the empty air. The vampire grabbed the boy's limp corpse and approached the nearest porch, standing on it and holding the body up in the air for all to see.

"For every thirty minutes that I go without the two witches here in my presence, five wolves will die, just like him," The vampire declared to the wolves like a king making a proclamation to his servants. He threw the boy down and wiped his hands off on his pants. "I'm talking to you, Rachael!" He screamed, "So either give yourselves over, or this pack will suffer. It'll be like killing two witches and wiping out a pack with one stone." He chuckled at himself while everyone else stared and shook in fear.

They needed a miracle to save them now, and their miracle was in fact waking up. However, unfortunately, Rachael and Brendon would have to face the demon alone. The pair peered out the windows to see two vampires approaching.

"Fucking shit," Rachael muttered under her breath, the corners of her lips curling downward into a frown.

"Hey, language," Brendon scolded, looking down at her, "There's a child in the room." She glanced up at him and smirked, causing Halsey to gag.

"Fuck you both." Halsey crossed her arms.

"See? She's fine," Rachael defended her actions, "She knows all the words, anyways."

"Let's discuss parenting skills later, shall we?" Anthony asked, disrupting the three outsiders. The wolf tiptoed to the front door and waited for the first vampire to enter. "Rachael, Brendon, I want you to make yourselves disappear. Vanish somewhere they won't find you. I'll handle these guys."
