Sakura-Ch.13

((A/N: I decided to give up on the MCD episode title thing for the chapter titles, I just couldn't find any good chapter names and I'm running out of good ones. As a result of this, I'll be changing some of the chapter titles to better fit the storyline. The storyline won't change, just the titles. Enjoy the chapter!))

Travis' POV: (for once)

I woke up to find Katelyn fallen asleep on the ground, her hair a mess and eye bags clearly evident. Her shoulders seemed tense, which was unlike her, and her breathing felt stiffer and less calm. Clearly she had stayed up pretty late last night, but that didn't explain why she was so stiff. Strange....

Putting these thoughts aside, I knelt down next to her, picked her up gently and laid her down on her bed, trying not to wake her. I stared while she continued sleeping. It's creepy, I know, but I couldn't make myself move. I continued, until I saw a pair of grumpy ice blue eyes slowly open.

"Morning beauti--" I began, but was cut off by an "ughhhhhh" from Katelyn.

"Why did you wake me up this early. I hate mornings...." She mumbled, still half-asleep.

I smiled. She really is adorable, even in the mornings.

"You're so adorable," I said, complementing her.

"Just tell me why you woke me up," she answered, still in bed.

I smiled again. What she didn't know was that I had a surprise planned.

"I've got a surprise for you, now hurry up and get ready," I answered.

"Fine..."

((Magical time skip!))

Katelyn's POV:

I sighed as I followed Travis to wherever he was taking me. Thank Irene he didn't ask about why I was so tired. Last night's events were crazy, and not something he should be worried about. Lost in my thoughts, I realized he had come to a stop as I bumped into his back.

"Sorry, Travis, guess I was just lost in thought," I said, embarrassed.

"It's alright, beautiful,"

I stood up and regained my balance. It seemed like Travis had brought us out into the middle of nowhere.

"Um, where are we?" I asked.

He flipped a hidden switch somewhere in the deep snow. A door opened up to reveal a small garden. It was in a small cave, but it was obviously magical. It didn't seem to be affected by the island's climate at all. There were flowers, plants, and trees of all kinds from all over the regions. Some of them I had never even seen before.

"Pretty, isn't it?" Travis said, interrupting my thoughts, "Come on, come inside."

He grabbed my hand and led me inside as I gasped and looked in awe.

"Oh my Irene," I said, amazed, "Travis, this is amazing!"

"Thanks, my dad made it for my mom....before, you know, everything happened. But enough of that, I brought you here to enjoy the beauty of it."

"Thanks, it's beautiful," I answered back.

He smiled and led me to where the sakura trees were. We watched as the pink flower petals began to fall gently. I felt myself loosen a bit as we sat there. It was almost too beautiful and good to be true. It's been like an eternity last time Travis and I had done something together, without worrying too much.

"I love you Katelyn, no matter what happens," Travis said, his head leaned up against my shoulder. "Your like a sakura flower; beautiful, rare, precious, and delicate. Even though you're from a completely different region, I love you."

I felt my eyes begin to water.

"You'll always be my sakura flower," he said.

I turned away and thanked Irene that he wasn't looking. Because luckily, he didn't see the small single tear that had rolled down my cheek.

((So, I tried to make a filler-type chapter, this book did need one eventually. Don't worry, this isn't one of those useless fillers that make no sense and have nothing to do with the story line. Trust me.

I'm also going to work on revising the beginning of the book a bit, since a couple of people were confused about the beginning. Again, sorry for the lack of updates, inspiration has been scarce for me.
