After three days in Batangas, I reported back to work, panay ang tawag sa akin ni Max but I just ignored her calls. I see to it that for that three days, Jade was my only priority and I enjoyed her being all so clingy the whole time. Even now parang ayaw ko pang pumasok pero I asked only for three
days kaya kahit halos hindi ako bitawan ni Jade napilitan akong pumasok.

As I entered my office I saw Cathleen sitting calmly and smiled at me while Max with serious face pero hindi ko na lang pinansin. Then I saw a tall brunette standing in the window as if waiting for someone and I immediately recognized her. The owner of hotel in Antipolo. Ms. Roxette Araneta.

"Good morning everyone, sorry traffic. Do i have an appointment with Ms. Araneta, Max? Wala ka atang nasabi sa akin." bati ko sa kanila and I saw Rox na lalong nagseryoso.

"You think I needed an appointment when you're supposed to be at the site to work?" mataray na sabi ni Rox. "I can sue you for breach of contract" dugtong pa niya.

"On what grounds, Ms. Araneta?" hamon ko habang papaupo ako sa table ko. "There are people in our team who see to it that everything in the plan is followed. As far as I know as I came here, I heard reports that you're the one who's violating our contract when you tried to manipulate the designs just because you changed your mind." dugtong ko. At nakita ko siyang lalong naningkit ang mata but I don't care.

"It's your fault because you're not there monitoring their works and I'm not satisfied with it. You spent your time with personal pleasures and neglect your responsibility as an Engineer.

" Well, in that case we'll just have to terminate our contract then." walang takot kong sabi. "You see, Ms. Araneta we work as a team so if you think that I failed you then the same goes with the whole team. And for your information my wife is more than a pleasure so let her out of this issue." pagtatapos ko. Ang babaw ng dahilan niya pero willing akong igive up siya dahil ayaw kong magtrabho sa mga spoiled brats na tulad niya.

"Are you sure you want this Althea? You want to be sued? So you want to live in jail, rather than be with your wife"

"I'd rather be in jail and visited by my wife than stay here outside standing next to you." patol ko sa katarayan niya. I saw Cathleen smirk pero hindi niya yon pinahalata. Bigla ng nagbago ang mukha ni Rox.

"Can we talk privately." kalma na niyang salita. "Could you please leave us?" baling niya kay Max at Cathleen. Tatayo na sana si Cathleen.

"Not Cathleen, please stay." sabi ko at tiningnan ako ni Rox. "Cath is not just anybody..." sagot ko sa tinging tanong niya. Gusto niyang sumagot pero hindi na niya tinuloy.

"Go on, Ms. Araneta, I'm listening." sunod kong sabi ng makaalis si Max.

"I'm sorry for being rude, Althea. I'm just upset because I felt that your contract with me is taken for granted. Wala ka kasi madalas sa site especially this past weeks and wala ka sa sarili kapag kinakausap kita." may himig tampo sa boses niya. Wow ha, feeling ko para siyang manliligaw na binabalewala ko.

"I'm sorry, Ms. Araneta but I don't neglect my responsibilities kahit na madalang ako sa site and I don't think I need to explain myself too kung hindi mo ako makausap
ng matino. As far as I know lahat ng tanong mo related sa project ay maayos kong nasasagot." paliwanag ko.

" I guess I just missed you being friendly." malambing na niyang sabi.

"I am being friendly Ms. Araneta but I don't flirt." deretsa ko ng sabi and I saw her blushed while I saw Cathleen shot me a stern look.
