Chapter 18: The Find

            (Hey guys, if you read the author's note then you would know that I have been sick for a while. I had strep throat -shudder- I hate strep throat..in fact I hate it whenever my throat gets sore..I just...I dont know..well anyway on with the chapter)

      I woke up to Ari licking my face. "Quit it," I said giggling. "I bet your hungry," I said sitting up and stretching. I walked over to the fire and added to large branches that we pulled off the branch that stretched over to our ledge. I stabbed a salmon onto a stick and roasted it in the flames. I looked over at the blanket and saw Katy curled into a ball asleep. Janette was on the other side of the blanket stretched out on her stomach and her face stuffed in a pillow that I didnt realize she had. I looked over and realized the salmon had caught fire. "Shoot!" I yelled as I jumped out and bolted to the ledge and threw the salmon out into the water. "Well that was joyful," I murmured. "Now it's the fish on fire instead of the girl on fire," I said as I made my way back inside. Ari lapped water from the waterfall and came back in. I sat on a large rock and sighed. "Sorry I set your breakfast on fire boy," I said as I pet the top of his head that rested on my lap. I was never known for my...well..patience...unless it came to friends and that is only my closet friends like Kaitlyn. I stood up and took a deep breath. "Alright I'll try thagain," I said to myself more than Ari. I grabbed another fish and stabbed a stick through it. I sat on the rock and roasted the fish over the fire making sure to watch it carefully this time. When it was crispy and brown I took it out of the fire and waited for it to cool then took it off the stick. I tossed it on the floor for Ari. He happily started tearing it apart. I heard a yawn and looked over to see Katy stretching. "Hey Jules," she said tiredly. "Hey Katy," I said still sitting on the big rock. "We should go for a walk today. I think Ari is getting bored," I said looking at the pup. He was laying on his back pawing at the air and looked over when I said his name. We laughed. "I agree," said Katy. "I think we all could use a good walk after being cooped up in here so long." I nodded. "Hey guys," said Janette. I looked over and she was sitting up stretching. "You woke up late," I said. "If I had a black marker I would've drawn a mustache on you," I said with a grin. We all laughed. "It's true she would do it," said Katy laughing. "Hey Janette, we decided we were going to go for a walk today so you can come too. Ok?" "Alright," she said. With that we all stood up and started to change. "Hey Katy look! Our matching llamacorn shirts!" I looked at them. It was white with a rainbow on it with a llamacorn on the grass." We saw them at the mall the minute after school and we screamed and collapsed when we saw them. "Oh my god!!!!" She screamed. "Lets wear these," I said. "Janette I have two extras you can wear one too!" I said excidedly. "Yay!" She screamed and ran over. We all put them on along with jean shorts. "Twins!!!!!!!" We all said and laughed. I brushed my hair and closed up Katy's duffel that still had my clothes in it. With freshly brushed hair and AWESOME clothes we put Ari in my duffel and climbed down the tree. Once we got down on the ground I let Ari out of the bag and he shook off and licked my hand. I stroked his head and put the duffel back over my shoulder. "We should collect more firewood, we're running low," said Janette. "Ok," I said. We kept walking and collecting firewood when suddenly Ari raced off barking. "Ari!!!!" I screamed and ran after him. We bolted after Ari as fast as we could. I'm a fast runner but in the woods? There were branches that stuck out in my face and roots that sprung out of the ground. By the time we caught up with Ari I was way out of breath. He was barking at something. "What are you barking at boy?" Said Katy who was also out of breath. I stepped forward through the trees with Ari alert and by my side. I could hear Katy and Janette following me. I was expecting to see an animal or something but that isn't what I saw..... There was a girl passed out on the ground by a tree. "Oh my gosh," I said and ran over to her with Katy and Janette at my heels. When I got over to her I almost passed out myself....I knew her...."Bri!?!?!?!?!" Said Katy and I because we both knew Brianna...she was a really good friend of ours....but what was she doing here?

(Hey guys...So....finally updated :D Brianna is my friend I know in real life along with Katy herself...actually Katy and I share this account :D so dont get confused between me and her lol XD)
