Proved wrong...

Yes, I heard your question, and yes I will answer it. But before I do, I feel as though I must first explain the reason, behind my reason.

I was raised in a house where my parents believed nothing ended. They said TV shows never ended, they would keep having new episodes. Books never ended, the authors would just write more books. They even said movies never ended, they would only have sequels. Like Transformers. They were proven right, and to my dismay more than once for Transformers.

It turns out, they had this little tick. They couldn't finish anything, and not because they were lazy, but rather because they didn't want anything to end. The last page of their favorite book would remain unread. The final episode of their favorite show, unwatched. They had never even watched the last few minutes of their favorite movies. They had to even leave a few dishes, unwashed, just so that it would not be done.

They went to a therapist, but never told me about it. He said they were both depressed, that they weren't afraid of things ending, but rather they were afraid of losing it after it ended.

Now that was the reason behind my reason. Now for my actual reason.

You see, I have a tick too. Like many other Capricorns, I don't like being proven wrong, and this was something my parents did often, and with great pleasure. So by the age of twenty I started looking for ways to prove them wrong. I wanted to be right.

Eventually, I found something. And I practiced it once or twice, just to be sure I fully understood it.

What does this have to do with my answer? Well you see, I proved them wrong. I had finally proved them wrong, and showed them I was right. It wasn't easy I assure you, but the look on their faces was priceless.

After all, I had just proved myself right.

I had ended them.

Is that a good answer for you officer?
