I'm afraid it's not

"Just because you're Tobias Hawkes' son doesn't mean you'll get away with another murder. One day people will start asking questions." I say and he took a few steps backwards.
"Oh yeah?" He asks, leaning on the door again.

"Yes." I was surprised at how brave I sounded when on the inside I was terrified. I don't want to die yet. I had so much more things to do. Before Chandler could answer, we hear the speakers go off.

"Allison Linda Parker your mom is looking for you! Allison Linda Parker, please walk towards the info desk at the very end of the mall. I repeat, Allison Linda Parker, your mom is waiting for you." I flinched at the amount of times that man said my whole name and by the looks of it, Chandler did find out what my name was.

"Allison... do people call you Allie?" He asks with a smirk and I can feel the blush creep onto my face. He blinks upon seeing that, but doesn't mention it.
"Yes." I answered in a rush. I didn't want to die, but I also didn't want to keep my mom waiting. So if he won't kill me, why is he holding me up.

"Well your mom is looking for you, Allie." He says.
"No shit, Sherlock." I roll my eyes. I quickly cover my mouth to prevent from gasping out loud. I probably shouldn't test him.

But from the looks of it, Chandler was amused. He pushed himself off of the wall and neared me again. I stood my ground.
"Go on, then. I suppose your mom is waiting for you." His smirk was stunning and I found myself nodding in return.

Slowly and carefully I walked around him. To my surprise he let me go and I ran off, not wanting him to change his mind. When I was at the top of the stairs, I stopped. I don't know why, but I thought I forgot something. I looked back and when I saw his confused look, I knew what I forgot to do.

"I'm sorry. For spilling the drink on you." I hesitated, before turning around and opening the door. He didn't even answer and I don't know how to feel about that.

CHANDLER'S PoV:

I watched the girl- Allison walk away from me and slightly flinched when the heavy door fell into its frame. I smirked and waited a few minutes, before walking off in the same direction as her. I expect to see her again, but today was not the day I wanted to see her.

Archer had told me about her. He knew I was looking for her and gave me her number. I have no clue how he got her number, but I'm not mad about it. I'll make sure to let her know that no one messes with me. She might doesn't know me, nobody does. But she must be aware of the fact that I don't just forgive and forget.

I shook my head as I approached my car. I smiled and pulled out the keys to my brand new Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6. Dad bought it for me. One of his many apologies. I shook my head at the thought of him. He's supposed to come home tonight and I am not planning on staying in the same house as him.

I get into my green vehicle and drive off. It is still early and I have plenty of time left. I quickly text Archer, saying I'll sleep over at his house tonight and maybe the following three nights after that. My aunt knows about my lifestyle and is more than happy when I visit. She's always been like a mother to me.

But what would I know about having a mother? I snort and glance down at my phone after hearing it buzz. Probably just Archer telling me that it was okay or something like that. When reached my house, well my dad's house- mansion, I gave Miles the keys and told him to park it in my garage.

"Master, I'd like to inform you about your father's arriving." His words made me halt in my step. What? He's already here. God damn it!
"Thank you, Miles. Please do not mention my presence as I want to leave as soon as possible." I gave my butler a look and he only nodded in return.

It looked like he wanted to say something, but I didn't want to hear it anyway. He also knew about mine and father's relationship, so no wonder he doesn't have a good argument. I climbed up the steps to my room.

I was careful not to make any noise as I didn't want my father to see me. I had my evening planned and it seemed like I would be arriving at aunt Bella's house earlier than she expected. I quickly shoved my necessaries into a bag and threw that over my shoulder.

I quickly walked down the stairs and griped the door knob of the front door. I almost made it, but then I heard his voice and froze.
"Chandler, lovely to see you. Are you going out?" I turned around to see my father standing at the top of the stairs.

"Yes." I kept my answers short. He strode down the stairs elegantly until he stood at the bottom of them.
"What a shame. Is it possible to postpone it? I would like to catch up with what you did in those three months I've been overseas." His warm smile almost made me give in, but I shook my head.

"I'm afraid it's not." I said, not explaining my answer, which seemed to confuse him. But after a minute or so he nodded in defeat.
"Take care, son. I love you." His words made my heart warm.

It was always like this and I hated it. I wish we would be normal. I wish I could love him as much as he says loves me, but I can't. And I know he doesn't love me anymore. He never did actually. I sighed and nodded, before turning around.

I wiped a tear off my face when I waited for my car to arrive. I dared to look back, but the front door was closed, so I had no idea if he was still there. I bet he was, though.
