"When we first met, you kissed me. You know that was my first kiss, I told you that before. I scowled at you for making a big deal of it. Which is funny, because I was making a big deal of it." He chuckled and I frowned at him.
"This whole deal and blackmailing thing was because of that. I knew I wasn't experienced back then and felt as if I had to prove to you that I knew how to kiss." He shook his head.
"I watched videos- how to videos and then when I felt confident enough, I started looking for you. At first I told myself I was just going to kiss you again, but this time it was supposed to be amazing." He had a small blush on his cheeks."But they way we met again, wasn't really convenient for my plan. I really thought you were interesting and found myself wanting to be in your company after the day at the mall." He shrugged and looked at me.
"I didn't know how much you really meant to me at that time. I thought I just wanted to be your friend, but I couldn't stop thinking about kissing you. And I know when we had this kissing deal going on, you were annoyed. Because I had only thoughts for that." He licked his lips as he glanced at mine.
"But who can blame me? Have you seen yourself?" I blushed again, but couldn't seem to look away from his intense stare.
"I sound like a perv, I'm sorry." He shook his head and I smiled. He smiled too and looked at the floor again."And then when you told me you wanted to be my friend, or at least give me a chance, I was so happy. I just found more reasons to like you. But then again, at that time I didn't realize it. Of course I had to mess it up, because I was jealous. I know that now." He sighed.
"I was jealous, because you got along with my dad and I didn't. It wasn't your fault, but I let it out on you. I was also not okay with you liking my dad. Everybody likes him and not me. I thought you were different." He shrugged and I frowned. This again.
"Don't look at me like that. I realize it now. I shouldn't be mad at you for being nice. He didn't do anything to you, so you had no reason to dislike him." He said and I nodded.
"That should've showed me earlier what an amazing person you are." He smiled again and leaned back on the bench, his elbows on either side of him."You told me I bullied you." He shook his head with a chuckle.
"You would be the first to that too. You were my first in so many things." His face turned serious again as I felt captivated by his black orbs."And you were the first one who I ever felt for." My breath hitched and I blinked in order to comprehend what he was saying. He liked me? He smiled at my reaction.
"I'm in love with you, Allie." He confirmed as he watched me silently.I didn't know what to do and when I felt myself smile, I quickly averted my gaze. But he saw it, because I heard him chuckle.
"Say something, please." He said after a minute and I sighed.I looked up at him again. It was my turn and I was afraid. I wanted to know a few things before I told him, so I kept a poker face. He gulped and his body straightened.
"What about your new doll?" I crossed my arms over his chest and he frowned in confusion."You believed that? Speedy, I wanted you to leave." His nickname for me made me roll my eyes.
"But why? You said you liked me." I was confused.
"Remember what you told me in the car? You said I should look for another source of satisfaction. And the fact that you thought I thought so low of you made me realize how wrong this whole deal was." He shook his head in shame."I made you feel worthless and didn't realize it until then. I am so sorry. I just wanted to be with you. And I knew you wouldn't have said yes to be my girlfriend. I wanted so much, but you didn't deserve the way I treated you." His words made me sad.
"Chandler, it wasn't that bad." This made him look up.
"You insulted my cooking skills-" I glared at him when he was about to laugh at that word again. He bit his cheeks and gave me an innocent look."You made me feel unwanted, but at other times you made me feel so good. Even the smallest things, like opening the door for me or the way you looked at me sometimes. I enjoyed them. I loved to watch movies with you. I liked massaging your head, because I got to feel your hair." I smiled at him and he smiled back.
"And whenever we kissed, I felt something. I know there weren't supposed to be any feelings, but we both know now that was a bad idea." He chuckled at my words.
"I loved the way you worried about me when I hurt my finger. And the way you smirked when I snapped at you. My family loves you and won't stop talking about you. You're not average, Chandler." I said."But in a very good way. It's not all about who you are, but what you do. Your actions make you who you are. The good Chandler. And I felt for him. I know there are a lot of things you haven't told me. I know there's so much more to you than what I've seen in those few weeks we had together." I said and he nodded, gulping.
"I want to tell you a lot more. I want you to really get to know me. And I also think there's a lot more about you." He said, making me smile.
"Give me a chance to show you how much you mean to me." His hand covered mine on the bench and I couldn't help it anymore. I had to be closer to him. He was surprised when I wrapped my arms around his neck and chuckled when I squeezed.
"I take that as a yes. Be my first girlfriend, Allie." He said, hugging me back just as tight.
"I would love to, Chandler." I whispered and he pulled me away from him, which made me frown in confusion."What-" I was interrupted by his lips. His lips on mine. I was so surprised, but naturally kissed him back. It felt amazing to feel his warm lips on mine again after so long. His tongue licked my bottom lips and I opened up. That feeling in my stomach was there, just like the very first time I kissed him. At the party.
We broke apart after we felt like we needed air to breath and I looked up at him, to meet his warm smile and his black eyes. We were both speechless as we looked at each other for what felt like ages. And then he smirked.
"So." He said.
"So." I answered.
