"Fine, I'll give you a day off. How about that?" I heard him sigh in defeat and almost showed my surprise. But he was looking at me and I didn't want to show him that I didn't expect him to give in.
"One day? I'm wounded, Chandler." I said, making him roll his eyes.
"Two days, but that's it." He smiled, but I wasn't finished yet."And you stop calling me your slave." I said and he nodded.
"Okay." He answered. I was still surprised, so all I did was nod back. He took a step closer to me, but I didn't step back. He wasn't really scaring me anymore. Especially since he smiled just a second ago."But I have a few conditions myself." He said and somehow his intense stare wasn't bearable anymore so I focused my gaze onto his chest. He had other plans when his finger lifted my chin gently, so I had to look into his black, captivating eyes.
"No more cooking and if I ask, make me a simple sandwich." I nodded and he continued.
"And you didn't do that before, but no questions about my parents. Did you hear me?" I nodded again and he nodded back as he looked down on my chin, before licking his lips."Was it humiliating for you yesterday?" He asked with a frown on his face. That question threw me off guard and I blinked a few times before nodding my head.
"You were bullying me." I clarified and he let out a chuckle."Bullying you? No I wasn't, I'm not a bully." He said, but I nodded my head.
"Yes you are." I insisted and he smiled.
"I never bullied anybody. You wanna be the first one of that too?" He smirked, running his tongue along his bottom lip. Oh god."Too?" I tilted my head to the left and just when he was about to answer, a loud honk interrupted us and we jumped at least five feet away from each other. What even was that?!
"Oi, keep driving!" Chandler scolded and I finally recovered. He was gesturing for the driver to go on and that's when I looked at the car. My eyes went wide and I felt the heat brush to my cheeks. Mom?!
We watched her step out of the car and her gaze was fixed on me. And let me tell you, she did not look happy. Chandler felt the need to step in front of me and kind of cover me from my own mother, so I had no view of her.
"Chandler-" I was about to tell him, when he decided to speak himself.
"Is there a problem?" He asked rudely. I flinched and felt like fainting. This definitely looked wrong."Who are you?" I heard my mother's irritated voice ask.
"Who are you?" Chandler asked back and I gripped his coat and pulled on it. I finally had his attention and opened my mouth, but again he beat me to it.
"Don't worry speedy. I got this." He smiled reassuringly, but I shook my head."No, Chandler-"
"Allie who is he to you? And what were you doing out here?" At this, Chandler's eyes widened.
"I-I can explain, mom. We didn't do anything, I swear!" I looked over Chandler's shoulder when I said that. He finally stepped aside, so I had a perfect view of my mom's face. She didn't look angry at all, just confused."Well, what did you do then?" She asked and Chandler cleared his throat before sticking his hand out to her.
"Chandler Hawkes, I'm sorry for-""Hawkes? As in Tobias Hawkes' son?" My mom's eyes widened as she shook his hand slowly. Chandler simply nodded his head and I almost laughed when I saw how bothered his face looked when mom interrupted him. Guess someone doesn't like to be interrupted. But then again, who does?
"Well what were you doing with my daughter?" Chandler glanced at me and I shrugged. How were we supposed to explain our situation?
"And isn't that Archer Collins' car?" I panicked when I heard mom's words. She looked at me and I gulped, before acting surprised."Wow, you and Archer have the same car?" I ask and he frowned in confusion.
"We-"
"You speak french?" My mother asked and me and Chandler both looked at her with puzzled looks.
"Only a little bit." He answered. Mom nodded and shook her head.
"Well, I just finished the grocery shopping. Why don't you stay for dinner, young man?" My mom asked kindly and Chandler's eyes found mine. I shrugged again and he turned back towards my mom."I would love to." He answered and my mom smiled happily.
"Alright, everyone get inside. We'll have dinner when Cyrus comes home from school." She informed us and we nodded. We watched her get back into her car and park in our driveway.I was slightly anxious to have Chandler at my place. I wasn't planning on interacting with him as I said before. But now he even met my mother. And the worst thing is, she seemed to like him more than she likes Danny and Mike together.
"You can go up to your room, but the door stays open." Mom ordered and I nodded, before taking off my coat and hanging it next to the front door. I told Chandler to do the same and we walked upstairs together.
Every step felt like I was nearing hell and I should've known it was going to be hell. I seemed to have forgot about my crop top, so I felt no need to cover myself. After all I was at home.
I opened the door to my room and made a grimace, which he couldn't see, since I was in front of him. I should've cleaned the mess on my desk. Or made my bed this morning. But I didn't expect any visitors today, especially because it's a school day and mom would never allow that. But I guess Chandler was an exception.
"Well, this is my room." I sighed and turned around to see him look around the room with a small smile on his lips.
"Well you certainly are a girl." He said and looked back at me with a smile. But as soon as he set his eyes on my body, his face fell.
"What the fuck?"
