Epilogue

Four months later.

I groaned and tossed my phone onto my bed. Why wasn't he picking up? I thought he was coming over tonight. I was worried because he always picked up when I called or at least send me a message. This was my thirteenth call today.

"Allie, the new neighbor is here. Cyrus and I are going over to greet them. Do you want to come with us?" I heard my mom ask behind the door. I really wasn't in the mood, because I couldn't stop thinking about Chandler.

"No, I'm tired. I'll go over tomorrow or so." I said and my mom opened the door. I was laying on my bed and she shook her head.
"Are you sure?" She had a weird look on her face and I nodded.

"Yes mom." I was annoyed because she looked almost smug and as if she knew something I didn't. But I really wasn't in the mood for it. I wanted Chandler.
"But he's attractive. You'll like him." I gave her a disbelieving look.

"I have a boyfriend, mom." I snapped and she rolled her eyes, laughing.
"Alright, don't wait for us." She said and exited my room again. I breathed out in relieve and turned on my back.

Why didn't he pick up? I wish I could drive, so I would be able to drive over to his house. But maybe he was just at the gym again. He started going to the gym a few weeks ago. He told me there was no net, so he called me whenever he went there. What if he just forgot to tell me?

Nevertheless, I was worried. It was already dark outside when I heard my mom and brother come back after a few hours. I was still laying in bed and decided to listen to some music. I just couldn't fall asleep. He was worrying me.

I stood up and heard doors close in the house and figured mom and Cyrus would call it a night, so I knew I was going to turn the volume down. I was not willing to go to sleep until he finally called back and told me he was alright.

I felt a breeze on my back from my open window behind me as I clicked on my playlist on the laptop. I sighed when I clicked on 'moonlight' by Ariana Grande. I liked the song and it reminded me of Chandler whenever I listened to it. I was just fixing the volume when all of a sudden two hands appeared on the desk on each side of me.

I gasped, but knew it was Chandler from the scent that reached my nose. He buried his face in the crook of my neck and kissed me there. I closed my eyes, before giving him more access as he started swaying our bodies slowly to the beat. I had no idea where he came from, but right now I was glad he was alright.

"I was waiting for you." He whispered into my ear as he bit my earlobe. I shuddered at the sensation, before turning around to meet his handsome face. His hair was disheveled as always and I loved it. I immediately wrapped my arms around his neck and massaged the back of his head, just how he liked it.

He closed his eyes, before kissing me on the lips. I kissed him back but denied access when he tried to get his tongue into my mouth and pulled away.
"Where have you been? I tried reaching you throughout the whole evening." I told him and a look of guilt flashed in his face.

"I wanted to surprise you. I had a plan, but I should've known that when it comes to you, not every plan works out." He chuckled and I smiled. Mike, Danny, Lila and Archer told us about their plan the moment we got back to the party four months ago. We told them right then and there that we were in a relationship.

I remember it like it was just yesterday ago. We have amazing friends.
"Well what plan did you have?" I asked and he licked his lips, before pecking my mouth and turning around.
"Come here and I'll tell you." He lied down on the bed and I followed him.

The music was still playing and I wasn't mad at it. I lied my head on my pillow and he hovered above me. He placed his arms on either side of me and we fell into comfortable silence as we just stared at each other.
