"Listen to me." I whisper but a squeal escapes from excitement. "You're probably going to die." I inform Softserve.
"Do you have anymore comforting words, oh wise one?" Softserve scowls at me.
"Don't die." I giggle. I'm the entire reason why we're in this mess to begin with.
We're both positioned behind his couch staring at the front door in anticipation. Softserve kindly took off my wig while I was 'sleeping', attended to my cuts, and wrapped up my hand. Since I passed out due to panic and sleep deprivation; I never called the twins. Sooo since I didn't call, they called me.
I was sleeping soundly on Softserve's couch when the phone rang for the tenth time. He couldn't stand the 'annoying music' that rang with each call so he took the liberty of answering. Just for the record, my ring tone isn't annoying; it's accurate. Eveytime Pierce calls it plays, Poor Unfortunate Souls. You know, the song the sea witch in The Little Mermaid sings. I think that song suits him well. Pierce does remind me of Ursula sometimes.
......
"Hello?"
"Who the hell is this!?! Where's Rin?" Pierce booms. I heard his voice all the way from where I was laying. I was still a little drowsy so I let Softserve take control of the situation....big mistake!
"She's fine. Who is this? A friend?"
"You should know who this is if you have her phone! My contact name should've came up."
"The name that came up was Buzzkill and to the side it says don't answer with an exclamation mark."
Well, we're screwed. Good going!
........
So that's how we're in this situation. It's a no brainer that Pierce has the house surrounded. I have a GPS tracker in my earings and they haven't heard from me. They're assuming the worst and are bound to crash in guns a blazing. It also doesn't help that I only told the twins where I was going and why. Yes, I should've told Pierce but he would want to go with me and I couldn't have that happening. It was hard enough getting myself in there.
"I think Pierce might be more pissed about the name than about who has me at the moment." I tell Softserve.
"So you didn't tell your gang about me?" His voice raises.
"Nope." I giggle again. I swear this is the best thing ever! So much excitement all in one night.
"But I'm practically a member!" Softserve whines. "I feel so incredibly hurt right now." He whimpers. Even though he's older, he still acts like a child. He's all mush.
That's when the door busts open. I look up to see a very angry Pierce standing in the doorway. He looks over to Softserve with a raised eyebrow but then his gaze focuses to me. His eyebrows knit together with fury and I know this is the end.
Note to self: Never leave the house without telling Pierce where I'm going. Or at least lie about my whereabouts so he doesn't think the worst.
"Scratch that Softserve....you might live he's gonna murder me!" I scream grabbing Softserve by the arm and running towards the back door. I know more members are waiting there but I don't care, Pierce is more of a threat than they are.
"Oh no you don't Rin!" Pierce growls with A.J. right beside him. I look to Softserve and to the angry duo. Softserve, Pierce and A.J.
"I apologize in advance." I pull Softserve and hold him in front of me like a human shield. I then push him towards them and make a break for it.
