(18) Baby Face

I open the door and Axel is waiting for me he looks like he's waiting for an explanation but I'm in no mood to give him one. I walk right past him and make a beline to my room. Who cares if I'm sore I'm done with today and it's not even the afternoon yet.

"Trinity." He calls but I'm gone in a second. I'm in my room, locking the door, pushing a chair up against the doorknob, closing my window and shutting the curtains.

"Let me in Trinity!" Axel pounds on the door. Can't anyone ever leave my door alone it hasn't done anything wrong.

"Go away Axel! I need space right now!" I screech and flop face down in my bed.

Silence. Yes he left this is what I need. I need to be alone. I've lost Zane. He says he'll be back but if he does come back it won't be anytime soon. Nike, is dying. The guy I've tried for years to get over, the guy that took Monster's money and ran is dying. Monster, is doing far more evil than I gave him credit for and Axel has ties to him. Pierce is so worried for his mother and doesn't want to waste a second. Brandon, I could see him tonight but it's risky. "Vicky thinks I'm a whore." I scream in my pillow. I don't know if she does but considering I ruined her relationship with Zane and I live in a house full of guys she's probably thought of me being a slut once or twice. I don't blame her I wouldn't like me either.

"I know what I'm gonna do!" I grab my phone and look through my contacts. Since I've charged it, I've seen that Danny added his and Vipers number in my phone. Not that I mind it'll be good to keep tabs on them. I first figured out that I had their numbers when Danny sent me the picture of me looking dead and Viper carrying me over his shoulder.

"I'm about to do something incredibly stupid but what's new?" I click on Vipers name and the phone rings.

"Well if it isn't my Princess." Vipers husky voice invaids my ear.

"I need your help with something. It's hush hush my team can't even know."

"Oh this sounds interesting tell me more Flower."

"Just meet me in Madison Square okay?"

"Alright anything else?"

"Umm...and bring Danny."

"Am I not good enough Sugar?"

"Just bring Danny I'll see you in half an hour." I hang up, slip on my sneakers and grab my camera. Time to do a little survalance. Sure it's going to be risky that's why I'm not letting anyone I care about get involved.

"You want to do what?" Viper's eyes grow wide and he looks at me annoyed.

"I want us-" I motion to the three of us, "to do some survalance together. It'll be like a bonding experience. Plus when things get heated, which they will, I need someone who poses a threat and you're all I have at the moment."

"You're fucking crazy girl!" Viper rolls his eyes.

"Language please, there is a child listening!"

"You know I'm fifteen right? I'm not a little kid." Danny crosses his arms across his chest.

"Anyone seventeen and younger are childs to me okay? I treat Dex and Q like they're five. I think you'll live cute lil Danny."

"I liked her better when she was unconscious." Danny tells Viper and Viper laughs.

"Me too little man, me too!" Viper ruffles Danny's sandy hair.

"Viper just called you little man and you're not offended!" I huff in disbelief.

"Yeah but he's allowed, he's older than me." Danny shrugs.

"I'm older than you too!"

"You are? I couldn't tell because of your baby face." Viper clamps a hand over Danny's mouth but it's too late the words have already been said.

"You know what forget it! I'll just go confront an abusive millionaire by myself!" I stomp away dramatically. A few seconds go by, I wait. This is exactly like the scene in Anastasia where Demetri walks away and counts to three and Anastasia calls after him. I love that movie. 3......2.....1.....

"Wait!" I smile and turn around like I didn't expect them to say anything.

"Today will consist of surveillance, blackmail, possibly fighting and kidnapping! Who's ready!?!" I cheer and they both stare at me like I'm crazy or something.

"You're going to do this with or without our help aren't you?" Viper shakes his head and Danny smiles a bit. I'm wondering if he's thinking of Anastasia too.

"Let's do this!" I holler.

Pierce is so gonna kill me.
