Chapter Fifteen

"You have an appointment with Mr Darren Tate"Court' said while looking at her jotter.

"I have to be in Mr Dominic's office right now"he said standing up.

"But sir-it took me two weeks to get Mr Darren-"

"Go for me"he said.

"Say what?"she asked"I mean...I may not know what um...-"

"I don't have time for excuses Courtney. Alan will drive you to his office. Make sure you convince him well enough. You know how bad we need this. Even if he's my friend he takes his job very serious"he said and was walking out with Courtney.

Courtney had no option but to see Darren. Edward's second driver,Alan drove her and she was nervous as she took the elevator to his office.

"Come in"he said while working on his laptop and she came in slowly.

"Um..."she said unsure of how to start a conversation without greeting him.

"Courtney?"he asked"I thought your boss was meant to be here"

"He had to go somewhere"

"Okay?sit"he said although he was a bit nervous.

They kept talking about business and she felt uncomfortable every time he'd lick his bottom lip.

"Forget this for now"he said.

"You mean the business deal?"

"Court' whatever Connor said back a few weeks ago is not what you think"

"Darren I came here for the contract deal not-"

"Babe,I'm sorry"

"I'm not your babe"she said.

"You said you'll gimme a chance right?"

"Darren it's not the time for this"she stated.

"Look,Karen and I were over a long time ago"

"I guess"she stood up"I'll come back some other time Mr Tate"she started walking towards the door.

"Court'"he stood up and rushed towards her. He grabbed her arm,making her halt and he stood in front of her.

"I believe this is not very formal Mr Tate"

"Common, you always call me Darren"

"This is business"she said.

"Would you stop acting like someone's watching us?"he said frustratedly."look,I would never cheat on you"

"You've cheated on me so many times"

"And I'm sorry"he said"I'm here to make things right again Court'"he said,shifting closer to her.

"Darren-"

"Relax"he whispered and held her waists firmly and kissed her.

She couldn't deny she didn't want to kiss him so she responded and dug her hands in his hair. It was mild at first but it started getting hot and rough just the way she liked it.

"I've missed you"he said in between the kiss. He sucked her bottom lip and she opened for him,deepening the kiss as he encircled his tongue with hers.

He left her mouth and kissed her earlobe,biting and whispering dirty things in her ear making her moan.

She felt so hot and moaned as he kissed the sweet spot on her neck.

She gasped when he palmed her ass in his hands,squeezing it and kissing her on the lips with so much passion. He pinned her to the wall and kissed her harder.

She missed him so much and she never wanted to stop but a knock on the door interrupted them.
