Christmas was a week away and the first test for us fledglings was today. I was scared and so was everyone else. It was Saturday and the earth around me was covered in snow like a big fluffy white blanket it was beautiful I got dressed in my uniform which was usually a skirt and a blouse and a sweater vest but this time I put on dress pants since its winter I through on my jacket and scarf as well and headed out side to meet Tobi. Me and him have started dating we loved each other a lot well as much as two 15 year olds can love each other. The air was so cold I could see my breath so I ran to the grand hall and me and Tobi dished Dee along with jake and Ray joined us we all laughed and chatted and enjoyed breakfast. Dee was doing so good lately with the whole mom finding out about Carter and all anyways, we ate and headed off back to our dorms it was cleaning day it happens once a month we have a cleaning day where all students would clean the dorms and Hortensia would come with her laundry carts and collect our dirty laundry, dirty sheets , pillowcases, blankets and give us fresh laundry and bedding. This happened once a month as we dreaded cleaning day. Dee complained the whole way back to the dorms that's how much she hated.
"Ugh I hate cleaning day can't they get the servants to clean, or why do we have to do it its so boring and takes so long."
We all giggled and once we got inside Hortensia was already waiting in the hall with her carts so we headed to our rooms and stripped the beds and grabbed our dirty clothes and put them in her carts then she gave us fresh clothes , fresh sheets , blankets and pillowcases.
"Morning ladies here's your fresh laundry enjoy."
We replied,
"Morning Hortensia thanks for the clean laundry"
And then she went to the next dorm we walked back into our rooms and made our beds and put our clean uniforms and other clothes away in the dresser and started washing the floors, walls and dusting, dresser, the desk and the pictures that were along the walls. Lastly we washed the window and the closet was cleaned as well the room smelled fresh it was nice after everything was clean including ourselves we headed down to the grand hall to start our testing when we got there mother , Mrs Alexander , Mr Kahn and Mr Fitz were all standing there they split us up into groups my group was the group lead by Mrs Alexander we did a obstacle course for different hunting scenarios and then she took us on a small plane to a little town before we were allowed off she said,
"this is the final part of your test I know it will be hard but please try your best"
Then we were taken one by one into a house that had a human family in it we weren't alone. Mrs Alexander was there to stop us if we need to be stopped. Some of us could not control our thirst at all but a couple of students were able to fight the thirst off for a little bit but then gave in it was hard and scary none of us wanted to hurt the family before we knew it Mrs Alexander was taking us to the woods to hunt to feed before we got back to the school. I was tracking a deer down I got close to the river ran along side it chasing a deer I jumped to attack it when some other student jumped from the side and knocked me across the river into the bank of the river. I banged my head on a rock and then rolled into the Icy water when a pair of hands pulled me out of the water and then I heard my mother screaming,
"My daughter bring me back my daughter please......Please I will do anything just don't hurt her."
Then I heard my twin screaming alongside my mother.
"Let her go please,"
And then it went black I couldn't hear anything when i woke I was chained to a bed with a muzzle over my face a man , Morgan I recognized him from when him and mom argued in the woods scared I started thrashing not about trying to break the chains Morgan placed his hands on my shoulders holding me down.
"Calm down little vampire I won't hurt you , I need you to help me out to help my son and your sister but your to wounded your head was banged up pretty hard you need to rest I promise I won't hurt you"
I calmed down and drifted off to sleep when I woke carter and his dad were arguing,
"Dad what are you doing let the poor thing go look at her she must be so lonely for her mom and sister and she is so cold and her clothes are torn dad please just let her go please don't make things worse"
"Carter relax I have a plan this will work I promise you just be patient... Oh good your awake"
Morgan walked over to me and un chained me from the bed and then gained my arms behind my back and made me walk towards the door
"Come on little vampire let's go your mother should be waiting I sent a letter yesterday to tell her to meet me at the river if she wants to save you and to come alone I doubt she will do I have my men around for my protection just in case now shall we go"
He picked me up in his arms and ran with me we ran to the river and he stood me on my feet the muzzle still tightly over my face so I couldn't bite them or talk and my hands chained tightly behind my back I was helpless.
I looked around and spotted my mom walking towards the river on her side she stopped when she was close enough to talk and hear us tears slipping out her eyes when she spotted me, Morgan spoke first

"Elizabeth, it's nice to see you again, I want you to call a truce between our kind we have been fighting for 300 years over nothing we need to stop this for our kids and our grand kids and great grand kids no more deaths no more torn family's please hear me out Elizabeth don't be stubborn call a truce let's end this war we can call it off no more killing each other or anything we can make a new treaty I mean you know our kinds can't mate your vampire blood is to strong and acidic it would kill my kinds cells once they enter a vampire body so we have no fear of hybrids being born and killing all humanity it's safe werewolf's can't change vampires anyways and vampires can't change were wolfs but we can change humans and you already know that so please I ask you Nicely Elizabeth end the war call a truce and let us live together in peace I will let your daughter go if you call it but if you don't the she will stay on my land until you do"
Tears slid down my cheeks into the muzzle I could taste the salty taste on my lips I looked over at my mother who was watching me and then she bowed her head and softly spoke
" you are right Morgan so right I don't know why I didn't see that before hand it's just how I was raised to hate your people but it's wrong and will no longer be taught let us unite as one hand me my daughter Morgan the war is over I call a truce for my children and my grand children and so on till the end of time"
Morgan and mom shook hands and Morgan pulled out an old scroll the signed if and then we ran to moms office they un muzzled me and got to work making a new treaty among the vampires and wolfs and I was taken to the infirmary to be treated for my cuts and bandaged up the next few days the new treaty was declared upon our groups and a big bridge was going to be built across the river but for now all students and staff went home for Christmas break expect us fledglings of course we were not strong enough to go home yet so we all stayed along with my mother at the castle for Christmas a bunch of gifts were brought in for all of us and we had a big feast and then we had second big dinner a week later to celebrate New Year's Eve and fireworks it was amazing a few days after New Years the other students returned to school and classes started up once again.
