I got to the breakfast hall and walked down the asle when Dee waved at me she was sitting with Ray and jake. I sat down across from Ray and next to Dee. I smiled at her as she said good morning. We ate and talked and then all headed back to the dorms to grab our school bags. Once we got our stuff we headed to our morning classes they were quick and easy well for me and before we knew it lunch time had arrived. Everyone went to the lunch hall while I had to run back to the dorm to grab a sweater. I was cold it was getting closer to winter so the air was much colder and the leaves starting to fall off the trees I knew soon we would be tested to see where we are, how strong we were & how much we could control our thirst around humans although we wouldn't be going home for Christmas we would get to possibly go home for the summer if we passed. The second test in the end of spring I was almost to the dorm when I spotted mom with my tracking gift in the woods talking to some guy I didn't know who he was but he smelled of wet dog it was disgusting so I got as close as I could without being seen and listened in on the intense looking convo.
"Elizabeth I know our people don't get along and I know I am in grave danger being on this side"
"You are in danger do you know how much strength it's taking me to hold myself back and not rip you limb for limb"
" Elizabeth please listen we need to stop this fighting for our children they have feelings for each other I already had one of my sons go through this and lose the fight. "I couldn't protect my twin sister back then but I sure as hell can protect my baby girl now and I will protect her and her sister in every way I can so watch your boys talk to them and if I find out that they are coming around my land there will be consequences they will have to pay and the same goes with my daughter I will chat with her later now go and Morgan STAY AWAY"

With that the man left and mom turned and ran back to the manor once she was gone I ran as fast as I can back to the dorm grabbed my sweater and headed for lunch the rest of the day flew by first we had survival with Mrs Alexander it was a boring class today all we did was notes and stuff In hunting with Mr Fitz I could barely think at all. I kept thinking about the kiss that me and Mr Fitz had shared last night and I was so confused about my feelings I mean Mr Fitz is a nice guy but I really like Tobi. Class ended and history started,
Mr Kahn started talking,
" class today we learn about mating okay so listen up since the start of vampires we have found that vampires only mate once meaning there will be a special connection between two vampires that happens when they meet and when it happens they will be mates for the rest of their life's. Class I want you to know that you will know when it happens the emotions and feelings you will have and how you can't help but want to protect a certain person and how you feel so strongly for then you will just know that they are the one for you and they will know that your the only one for them"
I automatically found myself turning to look at Tobi only to find him already looking at me when our eyes met we both turned away looking back at mr khan how he was watching us with a smile on his face for the rest of class we did notes. When class ended head mistress was standing at the door me and Dee walked towards her and she spoke.
"Shay head to your dorm I will talk with you later"
"Okay head mistress" I replied
I started to walk away the last words I heard mom say was,
"Denice Hastings come with me we need to have a little chat"
I walked down the halls of the school worried for my sister hoping mom didn't punish her to badly I just passed down the last hall when I heard it.
"Pssst, Shay over here"
I turned and seen Tobi behind the statue of Alaric I ran over to him and and he pulled me to our secret library as soon as we were inside his lips were on mine I knew it right then that it was Tobi I loved Tobi it always been him and it will always be him. I pulled away and hugged him tight tears falling from my eyes I quickly wiped them away and we sat down on the couch together and cuddled. I read to Tobi a book called the secret garden it was one of my favourites my eyes started getting heavy. I looked up at Tobi who was asleep so I closed the book and placed a kiss on his chin and whispered,
"I love you Tobi"
I closed my eyes and slowly drifted off before I was fully asleep I heard Tobi whisper,
