Jason's POV
__________I got a text from Madeline. I ran to my phone to see what she said.
...
Madeline: Hey. Rachel left.
...
Jason: okay. On my way.
...
I put my phone in my pocket and packed up for the weekend and the rest of next week. I packed a few pairs of jeans and a few pairs of workout shorts to chill in. I also grabbed a few under armor shirts as well. I ran into the bathroom and got shaving stuff in case I needed to. I packed my bag with deodorant and soap if I ever needed to take a shower there. I then packed all my essentials I needed for a week and a half. I was ready to teleport over to Madeline's house. I looked at Madeline's address and snapped my fingers. Fire engulfed me as I was teleporting away.

Madeline's POV
_____________I finished dusting the basement and cleared the last of the cobwebs. I set the sleeping bags out. I didn't know which was which at first, but I knew, they'd pick out their own. Next thing I knew, I heard a male voice from upstairs. It was Jason. "Hello?" He called. "Madeline? Where are you?" "I'm downstairs." I said. "I'll be right up." I put down everything, turned to the stairs and started walking. However Jason, being his usual self, was already at the bottom of the stairs. I was inches from face planting into his chest. I looked up as his blue/brownish eyes looked down at me. "Wow." Jason said. "You're even shorter in person." "And you're even taller in person." I said. "5'8." He said. "5'1." I said. He chuckled.
"Well, it's about time that you got here." I said. "Wanna help me with the basement tonight and start singing tomorrow?" "Sure." He said. "That's a good idea." "Awesome." I said. "Let's start by putting down the sleeping bags." We were unrolling each sleeping bag and placing them on the floor. "So, how do you know Madi?" I asked. "Well, I used to have a little crush on her in the fall." Jason said. "She likes Brian instead." "You know, you look like one of my friends that transferred to my old school halfway through my eighth grade year." I said. "Where do you go now?" He asked. "Middleboro High School." I said. "And you look like my friend, Zach. He left in elementary school and came back in the middle of my eighth grade year. It didn't really matter to me because I transferred to Middleboro for my freshman year. I'm now in concert choir."
"That's awesome." Jason said. "I wish there was choir at Penobscot, but there is junior and senior districts for choir. I was too chicken to try out." "I made senior districts this past year." I said. "The piece was hard to do being a soprano." "I'm a tenor." He said. "There was a choir in Castine that Madi and I joined. She's also a soprano." "Perfect." I said. "Then you're gonna love the song I picked out for us." "What song?" He asked. "Would you like to know now?" I asked. "Or do you want to find out tomorrow?"
He stared me down. "I'll take that as now." I said, laughing. I walked over to my iPad and clicked on Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. The song started and he quickly turned towards me. "I love that song." He said. "Perfect song choice. When did you come up with that song?" "I kinda got a little help." I said. "From Rachel and Madi mostly." "So, quick question." He said. "Say that I black out and transform. What if I accidentally bite you?" "I'm immune to it all." I said. "The venom and everything now. First it limited me to my hybrid form. I had a wolf form, but I couldn't access it until a certain age. That's rare for singing wolves. When he bit me, I transformed into my wolf form, but then immediately into my hybrid form. My clothes were all ripped up but the end of that. I lost my favorite shirt that day."

Jason's POV
__________"Jeez." I said. "That's tough. I wouldn't wanna black out as a wolf. I could kill someone." Her head shot right at me and her eyes turned yellow. "Don't even bring it up." Madeline said. "I have been hiding my identity for years, but now I'm trying to watch my ass as it might get kicked soon enough by my distant cousin." I was surprised. "Annabelle is your distant cousin?" I asked. "Yeah." She said. "Her family hunts werewolves as a sport. Singing is on their top priority because of what happened 5 years ago and it was an accident." "What happened." I asked. "I don't wanna talk about it." She said. "Later." "Okay." I said. "Whatever suits you."
