Madi's POV
___________We all heard screams. We stopped in our tracks. Even the enemies. I was already finished beheading a vampire from Shannon's side. I saw her disintegrate from under me. My hair and face was covered in blood from the fights. I was scratched up from the impacts from the metal fences and scrapes on my arms the stone dust. A few bruises here and there. I looked around. I found Madeline limping. On instinct, I ran over to her.
"Madeline!" I screamed. "Do me a favor and kick the stake in." She said. I nodded and I did. There was the stake in Annabelle's back. She screamed. She managed to stand up however. Angered, Madeline turned back and threw Annabelle against the dugout. The stake went through her back and chest. She tried to walk towards us, but her body was disintegrating into ashes as she did. Soon, she was all dust and there was nothing left but the stake covered in ashes.
She ran over and hugged me. "It's all over." She said. "We're free." She pulled away from me, but I found her blood on my hands. "Um, Madeline?" I asked. "What's going on?" I stepped back to see the side of her left leg ripped open. No wonder why she limped. I then saw a switchblade in her collarbone. She lost balance in her legs and collapsed in Zach's arms.
"Maddie!" Zach screamed. "Allie, help me please...." Everyone froze. "Clara, Sam, Laura, Lilly." He said. "Anyone. Maddie, please don't die on me. I don't know what I'd do without you." Then I saw someone running over. It was Laura Hatch. "I got you guys." She said. Her hand glowed white, she grabbed ahold of the dagger and yanked it out of her neck. She immediately covered the wound with her glowing hand.
I turned to my friends. "What did we just get into?" I complained. "I shouldn't have moved to Maine." "We wouldn't have met you, Madi." Lilly said. "And we wouldn't have been friends." Another female voice said behind me.
I turned around to an embrace. "You're okay!" I said. "And we won." Madeline said. "Had we not met, we both would've been toast." "But we would have been on the same team." I said. "Things happen for a reason, Madi." Madeline said. "And this brought us together." She stepped back and limped over to Zach. "Oh god, how am I gonna drive home?" She asked. "I can drive you two back to Middleboro." Neil said. "Thanks dad." Madeline said. "And can Zach stay with us?" The conversation faded as she started limping off with Zach holding her up.
Brian walked up to me and hugged me. "You did it." I leaned into his embrace, burying my face in his chest. "Guys, help." I heard Rachel call. We immediately ran over to see Olivia on the ground, clutching her side.
Laura's POV
___________We finally arrived. "I can't heal her." Rachel said. "It's too much silver." "Olivia, what happened to you?" I asked. "Wait, you're a werewolf. Why didn't you tell us?" "I'm part of the Dragon clan and I'm supposed to protect the endangered wolves." Olivia said. "I guess I fulfilled my goal. I can go now." "Wait, no." Madi said. "You didn't tell us the whole time. You could've been in the alliance." "I would've been an easy target." She said. "They'd go for me first and if they hurt me in any way, I turn back into a human and die."
Olivia's mother ran on the field and to the scene. "I've just called 911." Lilly said. "They're almost there." "Thank you." She said. "I guess I have to go now." Olivia said. "No." Madi said. "You helped us and we are helping you." "You've helped me enough." Olivia said. Soon, I knelt down and felt her pulse in her hand. I knew I had to do something. Soon her hybrid form disappeared and she was nothing but a human. She wasn't a werewolf anymore. I watched as paramedics rushed to the scene. They were getting a stretcher ready. Everyone left except me.
I turned invisible for a couple seconds and as soon as her pulse died down, I sank my fangs into her arm. Slowly, I watched as her skin turned pale and the light was coming back into her face. I suspected she was gonna be in a coma for a couple weeks before she can adapt to her new form when she wakes up. I wiped the blood off my face and teleported to Madi and Lilly.
