Shortly after my call from Natalie, I arrived at the milkshake parlour in town. She was standing outside the pink building with a folder stuffed with papers and cuttings, I knew instantly that this was her party planner folder and rolled my eyes. Blaine was next to her, leaning against the big window looking rather annoyed. As I came closer to the two of them, Blaine pulled himself away from the window and wrapped his arms around me in a welcoming hug. I returned it with a smile when he gave me a warning look.
"Natalie's gone insane." Before I could question him she rushed over.
"Tell me it's not true!" She almost screamed.
"What?" I asked her in confusion, Blaine rubbed his temples clearly over Natalie's meltdown.
"Tell me you're not going to boarding school, Ethan told me all about your crazy mum," Natalie rambled, I couldn't help but giggle at how worried she was. "Why are you laughing, Thea? This is serious!"
"Nat, calm down! I'm not going to boarding school my aunt told my mum she was overacting." I giggled. Natalie sighed in relief.
"I tried to tell her it probably wasn't true but she was having none of it." Blaine chuckled, swinging his arms over both mine and Natalie's shoulders and pulled us into the milkshake parlour.
We sat in the booth in the corner with white, leather chairs and a waiter came over to take our order. He looked around the same age as us although I didn't recognise him from school. His eyes were focused only on me and he didn't even acknowledge Natalie and Blaine when they ordered their milkshakes. I felt rather uncomfortable and became very aware of the low cut tank top I was wearing when his eyes fell on the little bit of cleavage I had exposed, but, I still offered him a warm smile when I asked for a strawberry milkshake.
"Looks like somebody is interested in you, Thea." Natalie teased once the waiter had left.
"Damn it!" Blaine sighed, when he noticed our confused looks he explained further. "I was sure that he was gay, I've had my eyes set on him for weeks."
"Maybe he plays for both teams?" I suggested, feeling a sudden rush of guilt that the boy Blaine liked took an interest in me.
"No way, he's clearly interested in you. Do you think you'd date him?" Natalie chatted, excitedly.
"No I don't think so, I mean, he is cute but I felt a bit uncomfortable with all the boob staring."
"Are you insane? He's more than cute, he's gorgeous!" Blaine almost yelled.
Soon, the waiter was back with a tray full of milkshakes. Again, his eyes focussed only on me.
"Hey," He smirked at me although it wasn't as attractive as the way Nate smirks. Wait, what? "I was just wondering, do you wanna go out with me some time?"
"Um," I stuttered. I didn't really but I also have never turned someone down and he seemed nice enough. Natalie and Blaine were looking at me with hopeful eyes waiting for my response. "Um, I'm not looking for any serious relationships right now."
I instantly felt guilty when the boy's face dropped in disappointment and he began to walk away. "Wait!" I called after him. "How about you give me your number and I'll call you if I change my mind?" I offered.
"Sure." He smirked again, scribbling his number onto a napkin. I took my phone out to save it only to realise I didn't know his name so I saved it under Milkshake Boy.
