A few months had passed and I'd be lying if I said Nate and I hadn't hooked up a lot in that time, however, we're trying to control ourselves after a close call involving a surprise visit from Ethan.
In about one hour, everyone was going over to Ethan's house for a small party. Well it was supposed to be small, until Blaine 'accidentally' invited half our year. Ethan hated the idea of having a bunch of people he barely new in his house but after a lot of convincing he agreed.
Now that the party was bigger, I decided to dress up a little more. Originally, when it was just the group, I was going to wear skinny jeans and a nice top but, now that there's more people attending, I chose to wear a tight, white dress and heels.
I had just finished my makeup when there was a knock at my door. With a groan, I sprinted down the stairs to answer it. I really didn't have time for guests, I had to be at this party in 20 minutes and I wasn't even dressed yet.
Swinging the door open, I was greeted by the person I expected to see the least. Nate. He was grinning, as he leant against my front door frame. I studied Nate, searching his face for anything that may suggest why he's here. Eventually, my eyes fell on his body. He was dressed in a tight, navy shirt and black, skinny jeans. The way the outfit hugged Nate's toned body made me swoon. Suddenly, I was very hot.
"You're not being very subtle checking me out, Thea." Nate teased. "But I don't blame you, I look goooodd."
"You look alright," I lied. "Why are you here?"
"Oh!" He gasped as his cheeks turned the most subtle shade of red. He stood contemplating for a while, as though even he didn't know for sure why he was at my house.
"Thought you'd want a lift?" He offered, any trace of embarrassment was replaced with the confidence I am now so familiar with.
"I was going to get a taxi." I dismissed, trying to cover up the fact that Nate coming to my house just to drive me to a party didn't make me want to squeal like a 12 year old at a Justin Bieber concert.
"Oh," He coughed. "I may as well drive you now, cos I'm here?"
He laughed, awkwardly. I giggled, was Nate really embarrassed right now? Why?
"Are you sure you didn't come here just to be with me?" I teased with a smirk. It was adorable to watch him blush.
"No," He scoffed. "Just being a gentleman."
"You? A gentleman?" I laughed.
"Jesus, Thea." He groaned, running his hand down his face in frustration. "Most girls would kill to be chauffeured to a party by me."
"Yeah? Well I'm not like most girls." I teased.
"I knew that the moment I met you." He said, a devilish grin playing on his lips. My whole face heated up as I remembered the day we first met. The day Nate asked me for a quickie in the backseat of his car.
"You're cute when you blush." He smirked but this time, the smirk was like no other I've seen before. This was different, only, I can't figure out why.
My hand naturally shot up to my right cheek after hearing Nate's words. I didn't realise he was still outside on my front door step until he took a step closer to me to cup his hand over mine. He stroked it with his thumb, sending electricity all over my body. I looked up, meeting his emerald green eyes and suddenly I was in a trance.
I kept my eyes locked to his as they scanned my whole face eventually landing on my lips. He wanted to kiss me, I could tell by the way they darkened.
My whole body was on fire and the only thing that could put it out was Nate's touch. I wanted, no, I needed him to touch me more. His one hand, that was now stroking my hair wasn't enough. My right hand, found it's way from my cheek to Nate's cheek and my left hand was on his shoulder. Our faces were inching closer and closer until our noses and foreheads were touching. My eyes were closed and I'm sure his were too.
My whole body was electric and when our lips finally touched, I exploded. Sparks were flying off my body and as our lips moved together in a perfect rhythm, I knew that I didn't want this moment to end.
"Thea," Nate's raspy voice came out in a whisper that made me feel giddy.
I wonder if I have the same affect on Nate as he does me. I doubt it, whatever's going on between the two of us is just a game to him. I'm sure of it.
He looked down at my body, that was currently dressed in a pair of Spongebob Squarepants pyjama shorts. He raised his eyebrow, amused.
"That's your outfit choice for tonight?" He chuckled.
"No! I haven't changed yet!" I said, suddenly becoming very aware of how close we are.
I stepped away.
I'm falling for Nate. I can't be. But I am. This isn't good. But it is.
No! I can't be falling for Nate, I'm almost certain he only wants some fun.
I'm won't have my heartbroken, especially not by a player like Nate Pearce.
If it's fun and games he wants, well that's what he's going to get.
