"Get that thing away from me!" I warned Nate as he took another step closer to me with his tray full of chewed up gum.
We'd been at school for about an hour with another half hour to go. We were beginning to get bored so Nate thought that a super way to pass the time would be to chase me with the gum we'd scraped off the bottoms of table and put it in my hair. I guess this was his idea of fun but it certainly wasn't mine.
"If you wanted to get close to me, Nate, you could've just asked." I teased, deciding that the only way to distract this boy would be through some harmless flirting.
"Don't flatter yourself, babe! I'm not the one who kissed you last night." He smirked.
"I only kissed you because we were playing spin the bottle otherwise these lips," I said, smugly, pointing my finger at my lips. "Wouldn't have come anywhere near you!"
"Mmm, hmmm," He nodded. "What about the second time?"
"I-" I started, trying to stop Nate from being so smug. That was until I realised what he said, furrowing my eyebrows and trying my hardest to remember last nights events. Nate chuckled obviously noticing my confusion.
"You sat on my lap, felt up all my muscles and then made out with me. We definitely were not playing spin the bottle that time, and, if you ask me, that's more then enough proof that you're into me." He smirked.
I shook my head, trying to forget everything he just said but knowing that he wasn't lying when the image of us making out again suddenly popped into my head. I internally groaned. Why did you have to go and kiss him another time, Thea? As if his ego wasn't big enough already.
"That's, like, the fifth time you've mentioned our little kiss. You must've really enjoyed it." I goaded, trying my hardest to change the subject. He shrugged his shoulders in defeat.
"Not going to lie, you are a great kisser and for some reason I just can't seem to get it out of my head." He said, my face lit up in excitement and I jumped for joy.
"Wooo!" I sung, doing a little victory dance. "I knew you were into me and I just made you admit it!" I continued my victory dance spinning around in circles until Nate's hands grasped my waist and pushed me against the wall, our faces were inches apart.
"Or it could've just been the alcohol making me think the kiss was good," he suggested, his warm breath tickled my face making it heat up, no doubt turning it an obvious shade of red. "We could always kiss again, just so I know that it was the alcohol and you are a terrible kisser in reality."
"No way!" I said, pushing him away from my face and letting another wave of confidence take over me. "You think you could just seduce me and get me to kiss you again? Well it's not going to work, Nate, no matter how hard you try."
"Come on, Thea. You know you want to!" He whined.
"Shut up! You sound so needy, like a whiny child." I giggled, pushing myself on top of the table. Enjoying Nate's desperation a little too much, I decided to tease him a little more by pouting my lips and rocking my head from side to side.
"You're killing me, Thea!" He groaned, running his hands through his messy, brown hair.
"Wow! You really wanna kiss me, huh?" I smirked, he shrugged in defeat. "Beg me!"
"What?" He scoffed. "No way!"
"Well I guess you won't be kissing me then." I won't lie I really wanted to kiss him too but torturing him was much more fun.
"Argh, fine!" He snapped. "Thea, please will you kiss me?"
"Not good enough." I dismissed, he sighed in frustration.
"Thea! Pleeeaaseee will you kiss me?" He begged, standing only inches away from my face. His eyes looking deeply into my own.
This was no longer teasing or playful flirting, Nate really wanted us to kiss and I couldn't resist the temptation anymore.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled his face even closer to mine, if that was even possible. In an instant, his lips were on mine. They were smooth and soft, perfect. His strong hand reached up and tangled itself into my long, blonde hair. For a moment, we pulled apart, still looking deeply into each others eyes and still sat in the same position. My hands on his muscular shoulders and his hands now on my waist. Neither of us said anything, we didn't have to. It was clear we both wanted more and it didn't take long for Nate's hands to cup my face and our kiss to continue. He tilted his head back, deepening the kiss and traced his tongue along my lips. My lips parted then and I could taste his sweet tongue. Our mouths continued to move together in perfect synchronisation, Nate let out a small moan let made my whole body shudder before moving his lips down to my neck and kissing it, passionately. This time it was my time to moan, he nuzzled his nose into my neck.
"Holy shit," His husky voice whispered into my neck. He lifted his head up so our eyes were level, I couldn't help but smirk at his messy hair from where my hands had just been. "Lets get out of here!"
This scenario was all too familiar to me, running hand in hand down the school hallways with Nate Pearce. Somehow, we ended up in his car speeding down the road on a route I didn't recognise. Nate kissed me at every red light, I didn't hesitate to kiss him back. To be honest, I had no idea what was happening all I knew is that I wanted Nate and I'm pretty sure he wanted me to.
We ended up outside a fairly large, modern home. I didn't have time to admire it as Nate pulled me inside as soon as he hopped out the drivers seat.
We ran up the stairs together and I followed him into the room to the right, he shut the door behind me and pushed me up against it. We began to kiss again, passionately, my hands had worked they way up into Nate's hair once again. Nate zipped down his hoodie that was over my body exposing my bra and bare stomach, he stopped kissing me for a second and looked down at the small space left between us. With a small smirk he pick me up and threw me onto his double bed, I shuffled up towards the pillows at the top of the bed as Nate removed his own shirt and crawled on top of me. He began to kiss my neck and I couldn't help but let a small moan escape my lips. He continued to trace my body in kisses making my whole body shiver.
Suddenly, a rush of mixed emotions came over me. I wanted nothing more than to do Nate right now but I just knew it was wrong.
"Wait!" I gasped, out of breath. Nate stopped kissing me and sat up. "We shouldn't be doing this."
"You're right." He sighed after a moment of contemplation, getting off of me and plonking himself beside me.
"It'll make things awkward between us, ruin our friendship." I explained, mostly to myself. Still unsure whether I was making the right decision.
"We're friends?" He teased causing him to earn a playful punch from me.
We sat in silence for a few minutes. I looked around Nate's room taking in the decor, I noticed that it wasn't very personalised. His walls were a plain white and weren't decorated with any posters or photos like my room is. The furniture was black making the whole room look more like a show home bedroom rather than one that belonged to an 18 year old boy. There were no belongings around except the t-shirt Nate had just taken off his body. I was very curious why Nate didn't bother to decorate his room. I went to ask him until I noticed the time on the clock that was placed on his bedside table. 3pm, my aunt will definitely be wondering where I am right now.
"I should go." I said, standing and zipping Nate's hoodie back up.
"Let me drive you?"
"No, it's fine I can get myself home."
"Do you even know where you are right now?" He asked.
"No." I mumbled, embarrassed. Nate chuckled, picking his top up off the floor and putting it back on to my disappointment.
"Um, don't say anything about this to anyone please." I said to Nate as we jumped into his car.
"Would I?"
