The events from the previous night kept playing over and over in my mind. I can't help but feel guilty. I've betrayed Natalie's trust by breaking her rules, I've betrayed Aaron for ditching our date before it even begun to be with another guy but most of all I've betrayed myself because I gave in and slept with Nate when I swore to myself I wouldn't. Although, its very hard to ignore the butterflies going crazy in my stomach and the small smile that creeps onto my lips every time I look up at Nate's gorgeous face as I cuddle his perfectly toned chest and rest my head just under his stubble covered chin.

I just slept with Nate Pearce!

The sunlight had crept through his curtains, it must've been late morning. Nate readjusted underneath me, his big, muscly arm that was wrapped around me pulled me in closer making me shudder. I wonder if he has this effect on every girl he sleeps with. I tried not to think about the other girls, for now, I just wanted it to be about us. Except, us doesn't exist. We're not a couple, we're barely even friends. Natalie's my friend and I've just betrayed her. Great, back to guilt.

"Enjoying the view?" Nate's sleepy voice distracted me from my thoughts.

"Huh?"

"I mean I know I'm attractive but you've been staring at me for quite a while now." He smirked.

"I wasn't staring at you." I lied.

"Sure you weren't." He chuckled.

I was about to argue when my phone rang. I reluctantly rolled out of Nate's hold and grabbed my phone out of my bag which was slung on the floor along with most my clothes. I suddenly became very aware that I was only wearing his shirt as I sat up to answer my phone. Nate eyeing me up like I was the last slice of cake didn't even faze me when I saw who was calling, Natalie. Another wave of guilt came over me. I felt sick.

"Hi Nat, what's up?" I answered, trying my hardest to sound calm.

"Thea, oh my gosh! We thought something terrible had happened." She exclaimed. I gasped remembering that she and Blaine were also at the milkshake parlour when Nate showed up. They must've seen me leave.

"Why?" I asked, deciding to play dumb.

"You just left that poor boy on his own, he was waiting for you to come back for at least an hour. Poor thing. Also, what did Nate say when he came over? Why did he come over? Didn't you leave with him? Blaine's sure he saw you two leave together, are you together? What are you doing?"

"Nat! Slow down, one question at a time. Okay, um," I stuttered, trying to think of an excuse. Nate tapped me on the shoulder and I turned around to see him miming throwing up in a bucket.

"Now is not really the time for charades, Nate." I said to him, holding the phone against my chest so that Natalie wouldn't hear.

"For God's sake, Thea." He groaned.

"What?" I asked, confused.

"Give me the phone." He demanded, snatching the phone out of my hand.

"Hey! Nate! Give it back!" I snapped, trying to grab the phone back. He stood up, making it only possible for me to grab the phone if I jumped on him and although I'm positive he'd love that, I certainly wouldn't especially in a shirt that will expose my bare arse if I raise my arms too high. Instead, I laid down on his bed in defeat, groaning.

"Hi Nat, it's Nate!" He said, his usual charm present in his voice. I could hear Natalie rambling away on the other end of the line. I swear that girl could get some sort of world record for how fast she can talk.

"Calm down! She's fine. Yeah, I went over to the table to introduce myself to her friend," He shot me a look that I couldn't read.

"No - Nat, slow down! No, Thea told me she wasn't feeling well so I drove her home. Yes, that's it. What sort of funny business? No, course not. We wouldn't break your rules," I groaned, feeling super guilty. She definitely suspected me. Nate looked a little guilty too.
