I've never been in love, it sounds insane, but it's true. I've loved all the women I've dated, I've liked the random women I've fucked, but none of them have ever made me fall in love.

I've never known what that felt like.

I liked to focus on living in the moment, to focus on bettering the restaurant, and to focus on fulfilling sexual desires when needed.

Amina invited me over for lunch at her home, this was a normal meet we liked to execute from time to time.

Dillan was living there for a while because her flat had a random infestation and needed to be exterminated.

Believe it or not, the two of them weren't an item. Amina was hetero. Dillan was a stud.

Amina lived in the heart of Coconut Grove. Her house was massive, she had two careers as a book editor and as a news editor, her annual income was mind blowing.

Dillan was a middle school football coach, she loved athletics and working with kids.

We've all been friends since our time at Balmoral High. Now, we're locked in and living our best lives in exorbitant ass Miami.

I arrived at the house and chimed the doorbell. Dillan leaned out. "Oh, if it isn't the infamous whore."

"Don't do me like that, man." I said, smiling a little. "I love women, that's all."

"Oh, I know. I understand, too." Dillan winked, continuing, "welcome to mi casa."

Dillan walked backwards. I strolled in.

"Your casa?" Amina asked, looking at Dillan.

"Our casa." Dillan corrected.

"Bitch." Amina stated. "You need to assist me with this damn crock-ware."

"I'm coming." Dillan was shook, she scurried to Amina's aid. "You don't have to be so harsh."

"Girl, whose name is on the bills?" Amina asked. "Ok, I'm done." Dillan answered.

"Fabulous, take those outside." Amina commanded. "Yes, ma'am." Dillan carried the crock-ware outside.

These two are a chaotic combo, childish and brutal, it must be hell living with them.

Dillan, Amina, and I dined on the terrace. I observed all the food, it looked delicious, smelled delicious.

"Wow, who cooked all this?" I asked. "It looks delectable."

The beef reminded me of Tahiri. Her ass looked tasteful. I'm sure the cat was too.

"Dillan and I did." Amina answered. "There's teamwork in this house."

"It makes the dream work." Dillan added, cheesing. Amina's head turned towards her like a cursed doll.

"Y'all want to work for me? I have two vacancies." I messed, I didn't have vacancies.

"You know, it crossed, but that life ain't for me. I love being a coach." Dillan said.

"You sure?" I asked. "I can lend some assistance."

"I'm cool, bro." Dillan answered. "I can't wait to return home."

"I can't wait either." Amina rolled her orbs.

Dillan looked at her. "You love having me here, it's less lonesome."

"You're delusional." Amina stated, she looked to me. "How's the restaurant, lo?"

"It's in full bloom, I feel terrific about it."

"This idiot and I will come dine sometime." Amina said with a smile. Dillan's brows furrowed.

"I'd love that." I said. "I also met a woman."

"Oh, lord." Amina mumbled, holding her head, she looked exhausted.

"Is she what, woman one hundred?" Dillan asked Amina.

"Y'all are sick, an entire match made in fucking hell." I told them.

"Please, let this be the last one." Amina stated. "I don't think I can handle another disaster."

"It's been seven months, mina." I said.

"Oh, shit, that's a new record, sis." Dillan added. "You looking to settle down?"

"I would love to." I said. "But, it's clear I still haven't met the one." I answered.

"And what about the woman?" Amina asked, confused. "You like her, correct?"

"I am interested, but she's a little difficult."

"It's nothing the wolf can't handle." Dillan noted, referring to me. "You know that."

"Mm, the wolf is a bit tired of fucking around and finding out." I said. "I'm more like a fox."

"A fox still hunts." Dillan stated.

"Ok, I for one, wish the best of luck with her. I don't know what the hell Dillan's on about, but she needs to limit the narcotics." Amina said. "Thanks." I told her.

"I'm not even in the clouds." Dillan said.

"You sound like it." Amina believed.

Dillan rolled her orbs.

The three of us ate lunch and continued our conversation, talking about other stuff.
