PART FOUR — WEDDING

I awakened feeling exulted and looked at the clock. I screamed when I saw the time.

The wedding was in half an hour.

I didn't remember to set an alarm. I slumbered so well, it was soothing to not have Harlee wake me with her loud barking.

I awakened Logan, she viewed me with her brows furrowed, tired. "Yes, mamas?"

"We have to shower, the wedding will start soon." I scrambled out of bed.

"You're for real?" Logan sat forward. "Yes." I scoured the suitcase for the dress I was wearing. "That means we'll miss breakfast."

I halted. "You're worried about eating at a time like this?" I asked in disbelief.

"...no?" Her stomach rumbled.

"I'm taking a shower." I hurried into the bathroom. "You aren't inviting me?"

I reversed, clutched her shirt, and hauled her into the bathroom with me. "You're irritating." I said, she chuckled behind me.

This'll be faster, and I banned her from touching me, there was no time to waste.

I had to skim wearing full cosmetics, I threw mascara on, some red lipstick, and hauled her out of the room. I didn't even have time to fawn over how cute she looked in her blue suit, the invitees were asked to wear that color.

Logan and I hurried down to the beach where the service was being held. Her and I were ten minutes late.

The moment we walked over, the bride was coming, we stood on the sidelines until she reached Asaad at the altar. He looked clean in his white suit, a whole suave ass man.

I video-called Odesa and showed her. It was dark out at home, but I didn't want her to miss out even more.

Martin saw us and looked clueless.

Asaad sobbed at the view of Eira, the crowd was awestruck. Odesa smiled. "Oh, look at him, he's still the same."

Asaad cried a'lot when we were kids, Odesa was reminded of that. He was a sensitive one, irritating as hell.

Asaad and Eira shared their vows, thank the lord we didn't miss this, I wanted to hear how valuable she was to him. He found his forever.

Asaad and Eira kissed. The wedding officiant sealed the deal. I cheered so loud. I was a thrilled sister.

Asaad and Eira sliced the cake. Tahiri left me to talk with her father. I noticed Hisana in the crowd and went over to her.

"You're an invitee, too?" I asked her. "I'm the bride's sister." Hisana revealed. "Oh!" I exclaimed. "You couldn't have mentioned that sooner?"

"Your stunning face distracted me, I fell vulnerable." Hisana told me. "You sound like me for real." I was moved. Hisana smiled and looked to Tahiri. "Is she the woman?"

"Yeah." I answered. "Soon, she'll be all mine."

Hisana nodded and uttered words in her native voice. I was shocked. "Ok, woman, I don't know what the hell that means."

Hisana chuckled. "I wish all the best."

The service was fun, the view was immaculate, the food was delicious. I took notes, I wanted the next restaurant I owned to be different, more authentic.

Asaad and Eira flew to Cairo the next morning to celebrate their forthcoming.

Martin and Storm went home. Tahiri and I were still here for three more noons, our excursion wasn't over.

Her and I toured the land, attained souvenirs and clothes, dined at more restaurants, and rode ATV's and camels, she was scared but I secured. It was amusing, felt neat being far from home.

I'm booking an underwater room next time.
