"Three... Two... One..." Jack counted, holding on tightly to the couch. "Up!" He and Mark both lifted up the couch and moved it into the living room. "Is here good?" Jack grunted, stopping the couch about ten feet in front of the TV.
"Yeah, fine." Mark lowered the couch. They both dropped it on the ground and caught their breath. Jack looked around the place, smiling at the little set up he and Mark created. They had moved in to a large, two-story apartment with plenty of rooms and space. Jack was surprised they even found an apartment this big; it was about half the size of a regular house.
"That was the last of the furniture. We just need to unpack our stuff and we'll be done." Jack sighed and ran a hand through his hair. He was thankful he didn't get called in for work today; now he had plenty of time to get moved in and settled.
"If I have bring one more fucking box up that elevator, I swear I'll-"
"We need to at least get our stuff up here, Mark." Jack interrupted Mark with a giggle and kissed his cheek. "We can't just leave everything downstairs. Somebody will steal it." He hugged Mark quickly and headed downstairs. "Besides, all your computers and recording equipment are still in the lobby." As soon as Jack said that, Mark rushed out the door and to the elevator.
----------
Just a few boxes of clothes and some of Mark's YouTube tech were left in the lobby. Jack struggled but picked up one heavy box, and Mark grabbed his box full of recording equipment.
"Just... One more... Box... Left..." Jack struggled, trying to hold his balance.
"Is that too heavy?" Mark asked.
"I got it..." Jack grunted and tried to trudge towards the elevator.
"Let me take that, I don't want you hurting yourself." Mark carefully set down the box he was holding and tried to grab the box from Jack's hands.
"Why don't... You trust me?" He panted and tried to walk towards the elevator again.
"I do, but you can't break any bones if you're in a movie." Mark grabbed the box from Jack, but almost immediately dropped it. "Oh god, what's in here?!" Mark started towards the elevator. The other two boxes were fairly light, so Jack stacked the two on top of each other and followed Mark.
"Uh... Clothes." Jack glanced at the label on the side of Mark's box.
"We need less clothes." Mark laughed breathily.
Once they made it to their room, they set down the boxes in the little pile in the middle of their new living room. Jack set Mark's recording equipment aside so that nothing was placed on top of it.
"I have to set up my recording equipment so I don't run out of videos." Mark sighed and began carrying one of the boxes upstairs. "You wanna help?" Mark asked.
"Of course!" Jack grabbed a box of soundproof padding and followed Mark up the spiral staircase.
The both stopped at the landing and looked around the upstairs. Jack set down the box he was holding in front of the railing blocking off anyone from falling down the stairs. He opened a door to his left to find a bathroom, then a door to his right to a large, empty room. Mark opened a door directly across the landing to a medium sized room.
"I think this is a good recording room." He said and walked in.
They spent two hours just chatting and setting up Mark's recording space. Mark set up the internet, his computer, and put together all of his recording equipment. Jack put up Mark's brand new soundproof padding.
"I think I'm all set for recording tomorrow." Mark grunted as he pushed himself up off the floor from under his desk. "Oh, that's so cute! I didn't notice you were doing a checker pattern!" Mark grinned as he watched Jack put up the final square of foam padding. He had decorated the recording space with a black and blue checker pattern.
"Do we need to do anything else?" Jack asked, looking around Mark's recording space. A couple of old mattresses lay against the wall that connected their bedroom and the recording room, and the rest of the walls were decorated black and blue.
"Nope, we're all done in here." Mark wrapped his arms around Jack's waist and lay his head on his shoulder. Jack hummed as they rocked back and forth, holding each other close and enjoying the welcoming feeling of their new home together.
"I love you so much. I'm so happy we're together." Jack leaned into Mark's warm touch.
"We need to get you your engagement ring." Mark hummed, running his thumb along Jack's fingers. Jack felt the cool metal of Mark's silver ring press against his palm.
"But right now I'm tired. Can we watch a movie?" Jack asked, sticking his lip out and giving Mark puppy eyes.
"Of course." Mark kissed Jack's cheek and hugged him close as they walked downstairs to cuddle on the couch.

One week later...
Jack sighed as he shut the door. He dropped his keys on the kitchen counter, exhausted from his long day at work. He walked upstairs, expecting Mark to be in his recording room, but jumped back when he saw Mark walking backwards out of the bathroom and swaying his butt.
"Mark? What are you doing?" Jack stifled a laugh. Mark turned around with his phone in his hand.
"Making a home tour video." Mark said matter-of-factly.
"And what was this?" Jack mimicked Mark's butt-swaying motion.
"You must remember to always reverse gyrate out of bathrooms, for everyone's safety." Mark tried to seems serious, but burst into laughter.
"Okie dokie. You're the YouTuber, you do you." Jack sighed and walked into their bedroom.
"Well, I wasn't expecting you to be home so early!" Mark whined.
"You have your phone in your hand, you should have gotten my text!" Jack poked his head out the door. Mark paused and flipped through his phone before responding.
"Oh." He looked back up at Jack. Jack laughed and kissed Mark's cheek.
"You're so goofy, I love you." Jack giggled. "Carry on with your video." He turned back to their bedroom.
"Wait, I have to tour our room!" Mark called after Jack.
"No, you're not posting our room on the internet." Jack rolled his eyes. "Have fun, love you." Jack blew a kiss to Mark.
"Love you, too." Mark grinned as he watched Jack walk into their shared bedroom and shut the door.
