Chapter 5

------Lilly's POV-----

We all meet in the champion tent, Professor Mcgonagall, Rita Skeeter and Aunt Hermione (Who was the Minister of Magic) were already in the tent.

"Welcome champions, your first challenge is a 3 way duel, Scorpius vs Jacalyn vs Harfang, Chloe vs Evony vs Viktor, Ezra vs Jacalyn vs Poliakoff, Lily vs Eloise vs Igor. You will be separated and not know who is winning from the other sides. While you are dueling must find a golden book. Find the book first and your team win. Get ready your when enter your area you are dueling. No killing and no spells that can cause serious damage to your opponents, good luck." Aunt Hermione told us before we were lead out into the dueling areas.

I saw Eloise she was an older girl and looked like she knew her spells. Igor was a muscular boy who looked to be in either his last or second to last year. I looked the weakest and I think they thought that two because they cast spells at each other instead of at me. I was going for Igor first but then I saw the book and ran for it. Unfortunately Eloise and Igor saw this too and turned attack me but before they could I cast a charm 

"Aguamenti," I shouted as water came out from my wand knocking Eloise and Igor off there feet.

I ran for the book and grabbed it. 

Then the commentator called out, "Lily Potter has a book, Hogwarts win, The two other teams must get a locket to get through,"

I waited and waited for the others to win Scorpius got another book for Hogwarts, Viktor got a book and Jacalyn got a book too. All schools got through.

"The book you now have in your hands are clues for the next round, now you need to practice dancing and get a date the yule ball will be in two weeks, good luck, see you soon" Aunt Hermione said as she left the tent.

"Oh my, your not gonna belive this," Chloe said as she was looking in the daily prophet.

"What," Scorpius asked.

"Rita Skeeter made us look like a boy crazy Lily Potter who hates her family, She said Scorpius Hates every one who is not pureblood, Ezra is a total nerd who is awful at Quidditch which is not true seeming he is a chaser, and she said that I was a massive coward," 

We all read the interviews with disgust, "She said I blame my parents of being fame hogs and hate them for it and according to this I have no time for school work because of all the boys, I NEVER said that," I complained

"Its okay everyone knows Rita Skeeter, just writes crap," Ezra told us.

We left the tent, I went to go to find my Alice and Tia but someone grabbed my arm. It was Scorpius.

"Hey Lily, you know how we have to have a date to the yule ball... well I was wondering... maybe if you wanted to go... to go with me," 

"Are you asking if I would go to the yule ball with you," 

"Yes..." 

"I'd love to, see you then" 

"See you then, Lily-pad," 

I laughed and ran to find Alice and Tia.
