Chapter 2

Alex's pov

The next two classes flew in and were boring because Nicole wasn't there but anyway.

I was standing at the lockers, bored waiting about ten minutes on Nicole, I huffed and leaned my head back and shut my eyes, in frustration.

I felt someone's presence next to me, I slowly peeled my eyes opened, it was HIM, the one outside.

But before I even had the chance to say a word, I felt an arm dragging me away, I looked round to see Nicole grabbing my arm "ow, what are you doing?" I asked confused "I told you to stay away from him." She explained "I don't understand though, what has he done wrong that could be that bad, that you need to drag me away from him?" "Seriously, Alex!, just stay away"

We then walked to the canteen in silence.

Nicole's pov

I had to keep Alex away from him, this is bad though so so so bad, he's clearly took an interest in her and considering her dads David Merrygold and Astons now joined the east side I can't exactly let her.

Alex's pov

We sat down in the cafeteria, just the two of us, there were four seats though, Nicole was sitting across from me.

Suddenly somebody sat down next to me, guess who?, him, I still didn't even know his name!

"Leave!" He suddenly spoke to Nicole, surprisingly, Nicole did what he said and walked away and sat with some other girls "well, that was rude!" I said quietly "whatever" he muttered "who even are you anyway" I asked feeling brave "that's for me to know and you to find out" he winked "but I already know who you are, Alex Rose Merrygold." He said mysteriously "h how did you know that, I NEVER tell anybody my middle name." I said extremely confused "I have my ways, lex" "lex?" I asked starting to get annoyed "yeah, lex, I'm gonna call you that" "that's not my name though, it's A-lex" I told him "whatever" he muttered again.

Suddenly he stood up "QUIET!" He ordered and to my surprise, they all shut up "Alex, is out of bounce, nobody and I mean nobody, can take her out or ask her out, OKAY?" I couldn't believe this, they all nodded and went back to eating there food " you don't own me!" I stated, getting really really annoyed now "ha that's what you think" he eyed me again

"Leave her alone, Harry" I voice said from behind us, I now know that his name is Harry "shut up, Caroline" Harry said sternly, 'Caroline' had a huge scar down her face, I wonder what from? "Right I'm leaving" I stated "no!" Harry shouted grabbing my wrist to stop me from leaving "get off your hurting me" I screamed, this was sure to leave bruises "don't leave" I said to me, but this pain was unbearable "let go!" He then slowly let go and I stormed away.

*back home*

"Alex!" I heard Aston shout "what is it, ast?" "Come here!" I ran down the stairs and into Astons bedroom "what do you want?" I asked, clearly annoyed that I had to get off of my bed "we have been invited to a party" "whose party?" I asked getting excited "Liam's, across the road" he explained "is he not in that gang though" I asked "yeah, so am I, and so should you be" "I don't want to be in any of these pathetic little gangs" I told Aston "it's not that bad, al" "oh really"
