Alex's pov
I sat in my cell, waiting, anxiously. What if I don't get out, what if I'm trapped here. Forever. The longer I'm in here, the more the walls feel like they are closing in on me. I had given the police my side of the story, sorry my 'fake' side of the story, it's just Krystal I need to worry about now, Krystal was Harry's cousin but what do I really know about her. She could be a complete traitor for all I know.
Plus the fact I missed everyone, I had only seen Gillian once or twice at meals. Which I didn't eat, it tasted like liquid cardboard.
And I for one don't particularly like the taste of liquid cardboard.
But what I thought about the most in here for some reason, was my mum. I wonder what she was doing right now. I know what she did was wrong but, she is still my mum after all. But what my dad done was wrong too, he shouldn't have kept me from her.
I heard the familiar creek of my cell door open. It was the warden at this part of the prison, he was rather funny looking, with a big nose.
"There's been a change" he blurted out, "what? Is it good, bad?" I acted like I didn't know what had happened. "A witness has come forward. You are free to go." I fake gasped and jumped up, pushing my way past the warden.
I ran up the stairs, to see Harry and a girl, that must be Krystal. I ran into Harry's arms. "Thankyou" I whispered into his ear.
"Not me you should be thanking, it's Krystal" he tilted his head towards her. "Thankyou." I smiled "well, Harry and I are family" she crookedly smiled. She was quite pretty, but looked nothing like Harry. She had dyed red hair and bright blue eyes, with a lot of eyeliner on. "We all make mistakes." She shrugged.
"Hurry up I'm starving!" I squealed at Harry who was unlocking his front door "did they not feed you in prison?" He smirked "actually, they did, I just didn't eat it." I laughed.
We stepped through the door, and all I could smell was alcohol and smoke, and it was quite over powering, I coughed as I took my jacket off. I stepped through to the livingroom.
"Dad?" I practically whispered, he sat there, cigarette in hand, beer bottles everywhere, with another four men.
"Ahh! Alex I've been expecting you." He smiled sinisterly. "Do your job boys." My dad walked over too me and held me in a position that I couldn't possibly escape from. No matter how hard I tried. Two grabbed onto Harry and tied his hands, the other two grabbed Krystal tying her hands. "Take them to the kitchen. Alex your staying here with me."
I gulped loudly, quivering. Why was he doing this?. He sat me down on a chair and tied my hands to the back of it.
"Dad... Why?" I whispered. "Oh don't you worry, you'll find out."
"Do you realise how much trouble you've caused me?!" He shouted "what do you mean?" I looked up, confused.
His face was red and sweaty, just from temper. "Nathan. He's in prison along with most of the others. They've been charged." He growled "what's that to do with you?!" I snapped.
I heard Harry and Krystal from the kitchen, in a faded whimper. "Please, leave them alone... They have nothing to do with this." I begged "oh but, Alex I can't do that. You see it hurts you by hurting, him. And I want you to suffer."
"Suffer for what!" I screamed, tears streaming down my face. "They are my workers! You got them arrested. If they land me in it, that's me finished!, I've lost most of my money aswell! And it's all your fault, you stupid, stupid bitch!" He screamed the loudest ever.
It all made sense. He was there boss. They're boss was closer than I thought, I missed it.
"I just wanted out okay? Is that so much to ask, just have a normal teenage lifestyle, having fun with my friends, worrying about exams and tests, bitching with them, talking about boys... Telling them secrets. Coming home to mum making dinner, you and her the way it used to be. We were happy... So so happy. It's all gone. I just want a normal life." I cried
"We all know, that that's never going to happen. Do you not think we all want out? But there is only one way out!" He replied.
"And what might that be, DAD?" I emphasised the word dad.
"We all know that my dear... A box buried underground, death."
