Chapter 10

Alex's pov

It's been two weeks since I first arrived here and they've flew in, I'm dating Alfie now, Molly, Nicole and I have gotten really close, I've not seen Rebecca, Gillian, Harry or the rest of the west side in a while actually, they've not been in school for a while, I'm not surprised though everyone skips school.

It was Saturday and I was bored, Molly Nicole and Alfie were out of town so I had no one to hang out with, so I decided to go for a jog, I didn't particularly like jogging but I had to get out of the house somehow.

"Where are you going?" My so called dad asked me "out for a run." I answered bluntly "fine, be back by eight" "okay" I said as I walked out of the door, I put my earphones in and started listening to my lana del rey album, she was my favourite singer, about an hour had passed and I was not concentrating on where I was or what time it was at all, I was completely oblivious, I turned the corner and I was knocked to the ground.

Harry's pov

"Oh, I'm so sorry" I said helping the girl up "Alex?, what are you doing here?" I asked whilst she was rubbing her elbow "uh going for a run I think" she replied and I chuckled "where have you been anyways, you've not been at school, in fact neither have any of you" she asked, what do I tell her "oh yeah, I had some business to take care of." I told her, which was half true I did have some business to take care of but what she doesn't know is what sort of business that was "and what sort of business would that be?" She asked raising an eyebrow "that's nothing for a pretty girl like you to worry about is it?" I asked smirking "well.." She trailed off, but I changed the subject "so do you want me to walk you home?" I asked politely "well if you must" she giggled and we began to walk home.

"I heard about you and Alfie" I told her "yeah... And how did you find that out?" She questioned "I've told you I have my ways" I laughed "I dont like him." I told her clearly "you wouldn't though, would you, he's one of us." She laughed "oh so your one of them now" "maybe" "anyway, it's not just that..." I trailed off "well what is it then" she asked "I uh, em just don't like the guy" I lied turning the corner "Harry I know your lying" shit "fine..." I trailed off "Harry tell me" "he, he used to be one of us" I explained "he what?!" She raised her voice "yeah, he betrayed us for them, didn't think he was getting treated the same as the rest of us." "Oh" was all she said "and it was him that....." Shit I shouldn't have said that "and it was him who?" She repeated "it doesn't matter" I muttered "anyway I just don't think he's good for you" "what would you know" she growled, I've clearly made her angry "this is probably as far as you can go without getting attacked" she told me "yeah I know, see you later yeah?" I asked "yeah, bye" "bye lex!" I raised my voice as I got farther away "don't call me that!"

Alex's pov

I put one ear phone in and one out and carried on walking the rest of the way to my house, I decided to take the short cut down the lane, when I got shoved against a wall, I started screaming but it was no use "Alex Merrygold?" The mans voice asked "what's it too you?" I answered cheekily "yep that's her, definitely" another male voice came from behind her, the first man put his hand over my mouth and started dragging me away, I kicked and screamed but it was no use, they were just too strong, they put me in the back of a black car "you should get some rest, your probably gonna need your energy" the second man said "I'm not tired" I scoffed "night, love" the first man said and began rapidly punching my jaw until my eyes slowly closed over...
