Chapter 14

Alex's pov

I've been out of hospital for three days now, but my stomach is still in agonising pain, I think it's the most pain I've ever been in, it's killing me, I've still not spoken to Harry because I've not been at school, but I've invited Nicole over, so she should be here soon.

*when Nicole arrives*

"Heyya" I say answering the door "hello" she said smiling "do you want to go upstairs?" "Uh yeah" she replied we began walking up the stairs and once we got to my room I went to sit down on my bed, I suddenly got a horrific shooting pain through my stomach, I screeched out in pain "oh my god, are you okay?!" Nicole asked panicked "yeah, yeah I'm fine" I said lying back on my bed "we, we need to talk" "w- what about?" She said nervously "you might not know this, Nicole, but when your in a coma, you hear everything" I told her and she gulped "I heard everything." I didn't realise how much this was hurting me until now "please don't tell Louis" she pleaded "why wouldn't you want me to tell Louis?" I asked confused "because, he's behind it all, it's him the one that's pulling the strings, and Molly's making me do it, I do, I genuinely like you, Alex." She said "why, why would he do this, I mean Alfie-" I was cut off "he doesn't love you" she said and my chest ached "this is sick" "Louis' trying to keep you away from Harry, and sort of using you against him" I don't believe this, they were all so nice to me, I really thought they liked me I did "where is Alfie?" I asked, getting angry "Alex, you-" "where is he" I said through gritted teeth "he's at Louis, I don't know what he's doing but, you might not like what you see." She said and I held back my tears "right then." I said pulling my ugg boots on, and putting a grey beanie on my straightened hair "where are you going?" Nicole asked "where do you think?" I said "Alex, no don't put yourself through this" she begged "put myself through this? It's Louis Molly you and the rest of them, this could have stopped a long time ago." I snapped and rushed down stairs ignoring the pain in my stomach I stormed down the street, Nicole hot on my tail.

*at Louis house*

"Oh hi Alex" Louis said whilst answering the door, I've decided I'm going to pretend I don't know anything "hiya Lou" I smiled "can I come in?" I asked "oh, I uh don't think that's a good idea" he looked nervous, and I knew why he said no "aw please, Nicole and I just walked down here from mines to hang out with you all" he sighed "c'mon then" I walked in, I knew Alfie was going to be upstairs, Nicole looked at me nervously "I'm going to the bathroom" I said walking up the stairs and Louis nodded.
I checked in all of the rooms, I got to the last one, and turned the handle, sighing heavily.
I knew it.
"A- Alex.." He stuttered "I knew it, this is why you have been ignoring me all this time, even when I got shot in the stomach and was in a coma?" I felt tears in the corner of my eyes, the girl was now lying next to Alfie looked at me, I looked back in disgust.
I walked out and slammed the door, I walked as quickly as I could, clutching my stomach to try and ease the pain but it wasn't working, I could feel the tears streaming down my face, I stormed through the living room and down the hall, I opened the front door and stormed out as I walked out of the gate, Alfie appeared from the front door "Alex, wait!" He shouted but I just kept walking, he ran and caught up with me "what, are you going to try and explain yourself because if you are, I really don't want to hear it." I scoffed "actually I wasn't" he smirked sinisterly "I have never loved you, in fact I don't even like you as a friend, I really can't stand you, Louis insisted I went out with you, and you can't disobey the gang leader." The tears just kept coming, I didn't know what to say, so I turned around and began walking again, he grabbed my arm and turned me around "oh and Alex, I wouldn't tell anyone about this if I were you, or I will hurt you." He snarled and I turned around and walked.

*in Alex's room*

I ran straight up stairs and sobbed my heart out, that's one thing about me, I will never let anyone see me sob, even if I have tears streaming down my face. I cried until I fell asleep on my, now soaked from tears, pillow
