Vanessa: Laura it's time to get up!

Laura: (Ugh ok!)

Vanessa: Oh you're gonna have to walk today. I have to leave now for a trip with Debby.

Laura: *nods* (see ya)

Vanessa: Stay safe, and start talking!

Laura: *rolls her eyes* (I cant)

Vanessa: I know Laura I'm joking

Laura: *hugs her and gets ready for school* (bye Nessa love you)

Vanessa: By sis I love you too. If you need anything, call me or the neighbors if it's an emergency I'll see you in 2 weeks.

Laura: *waves and watches her sister drive away as she leaves for school walking*

???: Look Liz it's the freak!

Liz: Oh Vic! You forgot her first name! Mute freak.

Ross: Oh! I'm going with a pretty girl named uh.. Victoria?

Laura's POV:

I tumbled on to some boy named Ross and he was so sweet. Then he told me about his date. Victoria. Ugh just thinking about her makes me wanna shoot myself. Anyways, I ran off. It came to the day of the dance, and after school I put on a red dress, and a mask that covers the eyes. Since the dance was to wear a mask. I curled my hair, and I had to admit it looked really cool. I got my tips dyed right after school. They were blonde and caramel colored highlights. The dress was down to my knees, and it squeezed me not tight though. I looked actually good for once. I arrived at the dance. I saw Ross.. ugh.. and Victoria. If only he knew how rude she was. Anyways, she saw me, and then instantly kissed him. The thing that hurt was.. he kissed back. WAIT?! WHAT AM I THINKING?!! Ew no I don't like Ross it's just Victoria (Justice)is so rude and mean. Anyways, we used to be best friends. Then she got a jock to date her last year, and she turned on me fast. I cant even talk either, so this doesn't help. I haven't talked for 12 years so that's basically why I cant talk.. because I don't know how! I ran away after seeing them kiss and I went into the music room. I started strumming the guitar, then I went to the piano, taking my mask off. I started playing, and.... BOOM! I SANG FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 12 YEARS!! I sang a song that I heard once:
