Chapter 10

-2 weeks later-

Ross's POV

It's been 2 weeks since Laura was kidnapped. She is back at home and is doing better. She went a little nuts after we got home. She kept running after she saw her shadow... literally. She would wake up screaming, and yell at 'Jake' to get away. The boy who died? Yep.. I guess she just is scared of him coming back. Laura just woke up and she came down a mess. She had make up which I'm guessing she didn't take off last night running down her face, her hair was a mess, she was slouching in her pink robe and bunny slippers, and she looked like she just woke up in a dumpster after being painted with make up.

Ross: Hey Laur. You ok?

Laura: No... I had a bad dream last night.

Ross: You wanna talk about it?

Laura: When we get in your room. I'm hungry.

Laura sat down, and grabbed a pancake and are it quickly then looked up at Rocky and screamed "OH MY GOSH! ROSS WHY IS JAKE RIGHT THERE?!"

Ross: Laur, that's Rocky. You are imagining things. Jake is dead.

Laura: Ross, I'm going crazy!

Ross: No, you're not. Its just you're scared he is gonna come back, which he isn't... well ya know because he's dead.

Laura: Ross, let's go upstairs.

Ross: Ok.

-Upstairs-

Laura: Ross?

Ross: What?

Laura: What's wrong with me?

Ross: Nothing baby. You just are scared, when you shouldn't be.

Laura: Ross, I'm very scared. What if he isn't really dead?

Ross: He is Laur, they buried him the day we got you back.

Laura: Ross... I'm so scared. I have a feeling he is gonna come back..

Ross: Baby, even if he tried to lay a finger in you, if he was alive, I would kill him. I will always protect you.

Laura: I'm just... I can feel it. He is coming back. Or he is sending someone to take me away from you. *cries into his chest*

Ross: Laur, you are fine. He isn't sending anyone. Stop thinking negative. Think positive. Don't dwell on he past, focus on today.

Laura: I love you..

Ross: I love you too *kisses her gently but full of passion and love, and she kisses back*
