Chapter 13

Justin POV

I woke up with the sun shining bright onto my face, like always. I had my breakfast and brushed my teeth. I got dressed into this. I walked out of the motel and hopped into my car and started its engine. I quickly drove to school. I couldn’t wait to see my baby. I had missed her so much even though I last saw her 16 hours ago. I parked into the school’s parking lot and couldn’t see Ariana or her car anywhere in the parking lot. I guess she came with Lily today. I got out of my car and walked into the school. I couldn’t see Ariana anywhere so I decided to just head up to class. But then I saw a beautiful girl walking in the hallway; who was my girlfriend. I sneaked up from behind her and covered her eyes.

“Guess who!?” I whispered into her ears.

Ariana just turned around and gave a faint smile. I leaned in for a hug but she rejected it by turning around and walking away. I was sort of confused. I guess she had a bad morning or something. I followed her upstairs, since we both have our first period classes up there. Before she walked into her class, I grabbed her arm and pulled her in for a hug. Instead of hugging me back, she slightly pushed me away. I gave her a frustrated look while she walked into class.

Throughout all my classes, I was thinking about Ariana and all the possibilities to why she was acting this way. Maybe it was something I did. Did I forget something? I don’t even remember doing anything wrong. I wanted lunch to come faster so I could find her and talk to her and try to cheer her up. The bell rang and it was third period. I decided on skipping this class because we had a supply teacher. I walked towards the front of the school to see Ariana and Jai talking beside her car. I guess she was skipping too. But wait, what is she doing beside Jai? I ran towards them and slightly pushed Jai away from Ariana.

“Stop bothering my girlfriend!” I yelled at him. He just smiled and started laughing at me.

“What’s so funny?” I asked.

Whatever, I thought. This guy is mental for sure. I grabbed Ariana’s hand and was about to walk away with her when she didn’t come. I looked back at her.

“Ariana…”

“Justin, leave me alone.” She said, looking at the ground.

“What?”

“She said to leave her alone, you moron.” Jai sneered.

“You shut up! She’s my girlfriend; I can decide what she says.”

“Justin, I’m not your girlfriend.” Ariana squeaked.

I froze in my spot and turned my head towards her.

“What?”

“We’re over. I don’t want to go out with you anymore…”

“How could you say that, Ariana…?”

“I just did. I love Jai, not you. I made a mistake by even talking to you. It was all a lie. I just went out with you because I felt bad for you. My heart never belonged to you, Justin.”

Ariana POV

“I just did. I love Jai, not you. I made a mistake by even talking to you. It was all a lie. I just went out with you because I felt bad for you. My heart never belonged to you, Justin.” I said.

I looked up at Justin to see his eyes getting watery. He looked crushed. I hated myself for doing this but I had to, it was for Justin’s good.

“N-N-No, you can’t be telling the truth. T-That’s not the truth. You’re lying, you’re lying Ariana. Tell the truth!” he screamed.
