The New Kid

Chapter 5

Justin POV

                I got home at 3:30 because of all the traffic right after school. As soon as I got home, I texted Ariana the address.

J: 745 MM Motel Service

After a few minutes, Ariana texted me back.

A: Okay thanks. I’ll be there around 7.

I put my phone on charge and took a nap. Sometime later I woke up and I noticed that I was sweating like a pig. I quickly stripped off my clothes and hopped into the shower. The shower was just what I needed at the moment. The water rinsed my body and put me in my comfort zone.

Ariana POV

There was 10 minutes left till 7:00 so I decided on leaving now in case there might be any traffic. This is California; there is traffic everywhere sadly. I wrote Justin’s motel address into my GPS and followed the directions. About 15 minutes later, I found the motel. The motel wasn’t like those old motels in the movies; it was a brand new motel with a lot of guests. There were cars parked everywhere so it took me some time to find a parking spot. Once I parked the car, I put on mascara because my eyes looked really sleepy. LOL. I got out of my bmw and made my way to the front of the motel. I asked the lady in front where Justin’s room was and she said there were no Justin’s here. I frowned. Did he just make up a lie about staying here? I thanked the lady and right when I was about to leave I heard a man call me back.

M: Oh wait a second. Young lady! Young lady! Mam!

I turned around. There was a man, probably in his early thirties, calling me.

A: Yes?

M: Sorry about that. Justin is my cousin and he is staying at the motel, I just didn’t check him in as a guest. You are looking for him, right?

A: Yeah, he goes to my school and we have a project due so we decided on working over here today, if that’s fine with you.

M: Oh please. Consider it as your home too… Justin is staying at the second floor; room 232.

A: Okay thank-you.

I made my way up the stairs and found Justin’s room right away. I started knocking on his door but no answer. I knocked for a good 5 minutes before I got impatient. I texted him and called him but whatever he was doing, he was too busy to see them. I looked to my far right and noticed that a cleaning lady was cleaning a room. She had left her cart on the side beside the door. I noticed that there was a swipe in swipe out card in her cart. That card will open the door I thought. I walked up to the cart and sneakily took it and ran back to where Justin’s door was. I know I probably shouldn’t be doing this because it wasn’t even my property, but I wanted to get in.

I swiped the card in and just as I thought; the door opened. I walked into Justin’s room and looked around for a few minutes. I guess Justin wasn’t here yet so I sat on his bed and waited for him to come back. We needed to finish some of the project today in order for it to be finished on the due date.

While I was looking through my phone, I heard a door knob open. I turned around and saw Justin wearing nothing but a towel around his hips. I was shocked. He had a six pack! He also had some more tattoos on his chest and back and left lower leg. All the water dripping from his hair made him look ten times sexier. I bit my lip. Justin hadn’t noticed me yet. He then looked up and saw me.

“Holy shit. What are you doing here? How did you even get in!” he yelled.

I quickly turned around and felt guilty.
