Chapter 10

Ariana POV

Justin and I are officially dating! I can’t explain how happy I am. When Jai first asked me out, I was not near how happy I am right now. I walked into my house after Justin had dropped me off. I walked upstairs to my room and stripped out of my clothes. I tidily put them away and wore my pajamas. I know it was too early to go to sleep but I was exhausted. I walked into the bathroom and was about to brush my teeth when I had realized something written on the mirror. I leaned in closer and realized what it had said.

“You’re going to regret that.” It was written on the mirror with red lipstick. I kinda froze when I had realized that in order to write this, someone must have broken into my house. I quickly wiped the writing off my mirror with a wet towel and brushed my teeth. I hopped into bed and right when I was about to sleep, Justin called. I picked the phone up to hear a beautiful voice.

“Hi Ariana. Sorry for calling you right after I dropped you off lol.”

“Oh it’s ok, I’m fine with it. So…”

“Oh okay. I just wanted to make sure you were okay.”

“Awh Justin, so sweet of you to call and ask. I’m fine, don’t worry.”

“Ok great.”

“I’m going to sleep now, okay Justin. See you at school tomorrow.”

“Okay Ariana. I love you.”

“I love you too, Justin.”

I put the phone back on the table beside my bed and dozed off to sleep.

Justin POV

I woke up to my alarm. “I’ve got my eyes on you; you’re everything that I see…” I quickly got up took a shower. I wore a white tank-top and black sweatpants. I went into the lobby and greeted Michael. I then walked to my car, hopped in and drove towards school.

I parked my car into the school parking lot and got out. I was looking for Ariana and I had spotted her. I was happy that I was going to see her again until I saw a guy hugging her. He literally just came up to her and hugged her. She didn’t even stop him. She hugged him back, too. This got me furious. I decided on not going beside her so I started my way towards the front of the school, not looking back.

“Justin!” I heard Ariana yell.

I turned around and she was signaling for me to come beside her. I proceeded towards her.

“Hey Justin. Why the frown?” she asked me, once I had gotten near her. She pulled me in for a hug, which I had rejected. She looked confused and then just played along with it.

“Hey guys. This is Justin, my boyfriend.” She said to the others that were crowded around her.

I felt really uneasy at all the eyes staring at me. I could hear my name coming from them talking. I realized that I still hadn’t said anything to Ariana.

“I, uh, have to get to class.” I spoke.

“Um, okay. I guess I’ll see you at lunch?”

I nodded and let go of her hand, which was wrapped around mine. I turned around before I had gotten into the school, to see Ariana staring at me, looking pretty confused.

It was already lunch and I didn’t know what to do. I decided on spending it in my car, like always. I got out of the school and got into my car. About ten minutes later, I heard a tap on my window. It was Ariana. I unlocked the car doors so she could get in. She got in and sat on the passenger seat. After a while of utter silence, she turned and looked at me.

“Justin, did I do something wrong?”

I guess she had noticed the way I was acting towards her; cold.

I didn’t say anything which must’ve got her angry.

“Why aren’t you talking to me? Ever since this morning, you have been avoiding me. You think I’m stupid?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I said, without taking my eyes off the steering wheel.

She moved closer and put her hands on my face. She turned my face towards hers and looked me in the eyes.

“Justin, tell me now or lose me forever.” She whispered. I could feel her hot breath on my lips.

I placed my hands around her waist and leaned in a little bit more. I pecked her lips then decided on kissing her passionately which resulted in a heated make out. I then stopped so I could inhale some air. Before I could kiss her again, she stopped me.

“Love, you haven’t told me what has upset you, yet.”

I decided on being straight forward with her.

“This morning, I saw you hugging guy who was literally all over you.”

She then smiled and pecked my lips again. Why was she kissing me after I had told her this?

“Justin, the guy I was hugging was my cousin; Rico. He is a year younger than me and we are really close.”

I turned red and sat up straight. I looked out the window and tried not to make eye contact with Ariana. I was really embarrassed at the moment.

“Look here, Justin.”

I looked at her and she was still smiling. She put her hand on my thigh.

“I want you to know that not every guy I hang out with is my boyfriend, or something. I only belong to you, Justin. No one will ever be able to change that, just wanted to let you know. And by the way, you look cute when your jealous.” She winked.

I smiled and started chuckling.

“I’m sorry babe. It’s just I’m not used to this; dating. I know, I should stop judging so fast. Forgive me baby, it won’t happen again.”

She nodded and pulled me in for another kiss. After another heated make out session, we decided on going back into the school. There was 15 minutes left for lunch to be over, anyways. While we were walking hand in hand throughout the school, Jai and his apes were giving us dirty looks. I got fed up so I decided on going beside him to teach him who’s boss but before I can even take a step near him, I felt Ariana grab my hand harder. I looked at her and she shook her head. I agreed. I couldn’t get in any more fights. It would get me in more trouble which can cause me to get kicked out of here.

Ariana and I walked to our last class together. I sat in the back while she sat in the front. A different teacher walked in and introduced herself. Looks like Mr. Anderson didn’t have the balls to come back and teach this class after what had happened between us.

The bell rang and I was waiting for Ariana outside the classroom. She had a question for the new teacher. I was getting really impatient when she suddenly walked out.

“What took you so long?” I asked her.

“Well it wasn’t easy, but it was worth it.” She said.

“What was easy?”

“I was trying to convince her to let me sit beside you, Justin!” she exclaimed.

“Awh, I love you so much Ariana.” I said and then picked her up in my arms.

We walked outside and went to our cars. I walked Ariana to her car and gave her a kiss. She hopped in her car and left.
