Justin POV

I woke up to the sun shining on my face. Damn, it was bright. I wasn't used to this much light in my room, especially in the mornings. Stratford was more of a cold weather town. I guess I was going to have to get used to this.

I got up and took a quick shower to feel a little bit more relaxed. Today was a Sunday so I had one more day to get ready for school. I decided on going to Wal-Mart to get some basic school supplies.

I got dressed in a basic grey shirt and black pants. I had recently gotten a sleeve tattoo on my left arm even though I am underage. I hope the school doesn't make a big fuss out of it because I remember my school in Stratford made a big deal out of it. I almost got suspended.

I walked out of the motel and then it hit me. I don't even own a car. How am I supposed to get to places around here? On the bus? I just moved here, I would get lost if I use the bus to get to places. I walked into the lobby and asked the lady working up front where my cousin was. She called him for me. Five minutes later, Michael showed up and sat down across from me on the sofas in the lobby.

"What happened, Justin?" he asked.

"I need to get to places. I need to get to places now."

"Relax Justin, you just got here. You will have plenty of time to get to know the place." He said.

"In case you haven't noticed, I'm starting a brand new school tomorrow and I have no supplies what so ever. I need a ride to get some shopping done..."

"Oh I see. Sure then. You have a driver's license or no?" he asked.

"Yes Michael. I have a driver's license. Why else would I be asking you for a car to drive?" I said sarcastically.

"Okay then, stay here for a minute. I will be right back." And with that, he left.

He came back 10 minutes later with a pair of keys. He threw them at me from a distance.

"What are these?" I asked him.

"Just go to the back of the motel. There is a black range rover. That's going to be your ride for the rest of the year." He said and turned his back and left.

I jumped up from my seat and walked my way out of the lobby and went to the back of the motel. Once I spotted the range rover, I froze and admired its beauty. I couldn't believe I would be driving this beautiful machine from now on. I hopped in and started its engine and with that, I was on my way to find the closest Wal-Mart over here.

I finally spotted a nearby Wal-Mart that was pretty big. At least bigger than the ones in Stratford. I drove into the parking lot and found a spot close to the store and parked. I hopped out and made my way into Wal-Mart. Once I got in, I realized that it was full inside. There were mostly kids my age, looking for school supplies as well. Great, I thought to myself, more people, the less items left.

I was looking for school supplies for what seemed like hours but in reality it was just 15 minutes. I couldn't take the heat and noise in the store so I decided on just leaving. I walked through the back entrance and just ran to the back of the store because I was feeling light headed. I have this thing where when I'm in between a lot of people, I tend to just break down until I feel calm. I guess you could call it claustrophobia. I don't care. I kneeled down against the wall and reached into my jeans pocket. I grabbed my cigarette box out and lit one of them. One whiff and I was already feeling relaxed.

"Hey there."

I looked up but could not figure out where that angelic voice came from because of the sun blinding me. I squinted a little before I looked up again. She was standing right in front of me and looking down at me. She had smooth, long bright brown reddish hair. Her lips were slightly plumped. Her eyes got me locked on them. I didn't say anything for awhile. I just stared.

"What are you doing over here?" the angelic voice asked.

"I-I, was just leaving." I said. I got up and stormed out of there without even turning back. Even though she was probably the most beautiful girl I had ever seen in my life, I didn't want to talk to her. I don't want to talk to anybody. I just don't like people in general. I have been like this ever since I was a kid. The only person who I would talk to was my mom. Other than that, I would always keep my mouth shut. But when it came to singing, I could never keep my mouth shut. I know, I know, it is a really bad habit but I'm just too self-conscious. I'm not a people's person, just leave it at that.

I got into my car and was waiting in the traffic to get out of the parking lot when I noticed the same girl from earlier leaning on a post, staring at me. In these type of situations, I would immediately turn around and never make eye contact with the same person again but for some reason, this girl got me hypnotized by just her look.

HONK

Oh shit. The cars in front of me had left and the cars behind me were waiting for me to drive already. I looked at this beautiful girl one more time and then pressed the gas pedal and drove back to the motel.
