Good Riddance

Chapter 6

I closed my eyes, hypnotized by Alex's perfume. It was about 4 o'clock a.m , when I opened my eyes and saw the most beautiful face of Alex, next to me. His pretty eye lashes, his perfectly smooth skin, his careless, calm breathing while sleeping, made me the happiest girl ever. I didn't wanted to wake him up, but I simply couldn't resist, so I touched his lips with mines. Suddenly he opened his eyes. He put his well-known dreamy smile; Oh God that smile that makes me die, the smile that is melting me like the sun is melting ice cream.

“What a good morning” he said, while he was stretching his back.

“It is 4 o'clock. I will sleep little more”-I told him and put my head on his chest… The melody of his breathing, mixed with the beating of his heart, send me to sleep again.

The hit on my foot woke me up. It was Ginny.

She told me that our Geography teacher saw me and Alex together, and asked her how long we were dating.

“I told her that you aren't dating” Ginny told me with her upset tone.

Alex was still sleeping, and so was Erika, so I asked Ginny to change our seats and she agreed. I was sitting next to the sleepy Melisa, who barely noticed me. I turned around and started watching Alex. I was sitting like that, drunk from love, when Erika appeared.

“What the hell?”-she said, when she saw Ginny next to Alex and me sitting next to Melissa.

“You know why” I told her, making the stupidest face reaction.

Erika just glimpse it and said.

“You are lucky Alex is sleeping, you look weird and like a retard with that face of yours”

I gave her sarcastic smile and closed my eyes again, when some one of the professors announced

“Fifteen minutes brake! Repeating… Fifteen minutes brake”

Then everyone, barely looking, with fuzzy hair and under eye circles went out on the cold fresh morning air.

I waited for Alex, but he was sound asleep, so I decided not to wake him up.

I went outside by the gas station. John came from nowhere and hugged me. I just stood like a hanger not doing anything. He must have noticed my cold, ice queen like, reaction so he murmured

“What's wrong babe?”

“Nothing” I said giving a glimpse at his red eyes, putting fake smirk.

Alex and Erika came at that moment. Erika cheeky as always said

“So John what were you doing, despite standing here like a tree. Buzz off!”

John, being a tomfool, gave her a grin, saying:

“Chatting with my girlfriend, you know, something that you never do with your douche”

Erika's face went through every color. Pissed off by John, she yelled

“You loom think you can call Cam a douche? Have you seen yourself in the mirror lately ha?

I engage in this kind of fight and said

“Enough John! Erika shut up”

Erika couldn't believe what I just said, well neither did I. She was looking at me with her mouth half opened and said

“No way, you support him! I'm really disappointed in you Jennifer. You could find so much better than this vain douche” she said pointing at John.

“I don't support him. I just don't want you two to fight OK?”

“Fine, let it be” she said and turned away.
