Chapter 20

It was Saturday evening… And as many people said “Tonight we dine in hell”….

Yupp, you probably have no idea what I'm talking about, but the answer is simple and it's one word

Football.

The spectacular finale in the Bundesliga… The greatest teams Bayern München

and Borussia Dortmund, were playing, again, but the feeling was priceless.

Since it was John's first day in his kind a new-old home, and his even bigger comeback, Peter and Corry decided to celebrate it in a small pub down the corner, which was actually the only pub that televised football matches.

So, dressed in a black “Go love your own city” tee, and dark skinny jeans, I was ready to go and have a great time, despite the horrible, dull and rainy weather. I sprayed a little perfume on my neck and got out of the house.  In front of the door was waiting John, with weird grin on his face.

“Hey gorgeous” He said, as he gave me a kiss in the cheek.

Why was he so cold? We shared the same bed before, and now he was acting like he didn't even know me…

“Hey” I replied with cold voice, giving him what-the heck look.

“We are totally going to beat you” He started teasing me…

Here we go again….

John was a Dortmund loyal fan, and I was Bayern- forever- in -my-heart kind of fan, so we were both a total foes in football… Even though we were much better than Erika and Cameron, who were fighting each time these two teams were playing… Once Erika even slapped Cam for insulting Badstuber!

 They are both crazy….

We sat on a little table next to the TV and had a great look. 5 more minutes till the start of the match.

I saw the hyped up face expression on John's face, and the angry face of Erika, ready to explode and kill Cameron, who gave her a peck, therefore saying

“Don't be nervous honey, we are going to win… “

“Shut your gub… Tommy, Schweiny and Manu are going to beat your old asses”

I wanted to face palm myself, but even that was too mainstream…

2 more minutes.

As the time was ticking, making everyone nervous, my arms started shaking …

What the hell?

I glimpsed at the bar tender and I saw Alex walking toward us.

“Man, over here!” Peter yelled, waving his hand.

I stared at Peter with my mouth half opened.

I should have known! They are sort of BFF now! *cough* Idiots. Damn it!

Erika looked at me, and so was Ginny. I knew what they were thinking; I thought the same..

“One beer” Alex's deep voice spoke out, the moment a tiny waiter appeared.

Suddenly everyone started reciting orders.

“Orange juice with ice” I told the waiter.

“Babe, everyone is drinking beer or vodka… What is wrong? I thought you like beer?” John asked me, grabbing my hand.

“I'm just not in a mood for it” I whispered and looked down on the floor. The smell of beer made me vomit and with every quaff of his, I was holding my breath not to throw up.
