John's POV

No matter how long I've tried to, I just couldn't forget her.  I had tried to fight for her, but there were some fences that made it even harder. That douchebag Alexander… So cool, so good, Mr. relaxed; ugh I just hated him; then the situation with my parents.

 The problems kept going on and going on.

The moment I saw her standing in front of me, I felt the sparkle between us again. I bit my down lip, looking at her confused. It was over. What did she want from me? As she came close to me, my heart started beating like crazy. She gently touched my face and then kissed me. I couldn't resist her kisses. I couldn't resist her. She was everything that I wanted by me;

I touched her neck with my lips. I felt as her skin was tingling, when I backed off.

I shouldn't have kissed her! Why in the hell I did? She was supposed to hate me.

“Don't make this harder, than it really is” I said to her angrily, looking straightly into her eyes. I then whipped my mouth with my hand.

I saw her face going paler and paler. Her red cheeks were now nothing but pale as snow shades.

She started biting her down lip, meanwhile saying

“John, I…I am so sorry. I came to help you packing your things” She said with apologetic tone; I knew that she was lying. She wanted to kiss me; |

She has to hate you! She won't need someone like you!

I used that situation to become selfish, arrogant douche, so I bitterly said

“I don't need your help”, putting on my evil smirk. “I'm fine” I added.

She shacked her head and smiled; saying

“Don't fool yourself; just don't; be honest with yourself” She said calmly. She knew that I was faking that ‘careless look’.  She knew me better than I thought.

I didn't say anything.  She neither. We were both quiet; the tensed silence was unsettled by the birds singing.

I saw her, taking something from her pocket.  It was a white letter.

“John, take this” She said and gave me the letter.

“Don't open it now; open it when you come to your new home” She added.

I took the letter, holding it tight with my hand.

“I love you John; remember that” She said and hugged me. I pulled her close, wrapping my arms around her, holding her tight;

I loved her. I didn't want to let her go!

“I love you too” I whispered.

She then got out, alone. I looked through my window and saw her sitting on the bench nearby.  She looked devastated. She whipped her face with her palm. She must have been crying!

I was being selfish! She had to hate me! She loved me instead. I was leaving; I let her go! What kind of person I was!?

“John honey; are you packed?” I heard my mom saying form the stairs.

“Yeah mom!” I yelled from my room.

“Have a sleep; we are leaving early tomorrow.” She said quietly.

I laid on the cold bed and covered myself with an old, dusty blanket.

I closed my eyes and stated thinking about us. I loved the day when I surprised her; her smile, her eyes literally smiling, made me the happiest man alive.
